Lol, the apartment with no AC is super common here. You buy your own and install a window AC unit in each room. They plug into an outlet.

I can't believe how much you fit into less than a 13 minute video. Well done! Looking forward to more.

Omg! I was at the same showing in Astoria. It was insane! Also, I would have given Harlem another shot. It's changed a lot since you're friend was there. West Harlem is particularly safe, but I would avoid East Harlem if you can.

Yeah. Harlem is huge. And there are good and bad spots. The generalizations are kinda tiresome.

"Net Effective" apartments are tempting...but after that 1st year (unless you can sign a 2-year lease), they can really jack the rent up and then either you have to pay it...or move again.

omg I almost applied to the central harlem studio on the first floor! I'm happy I didn't cause the broker did mention safety and "noise" on the rooftop lmao I guess loud parties? Either way good luck :)

You should look into Williamsburg, Brooklyn or Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Very safe, nice neighborhoods with tons of restaurants and things to do for young people. Also both have the G and L trains so easy access into Manhattan.
@Pr0d3giАй бұрын
those places are even more expensive than manhattan
@love_nyc_Ай бұрын
@@Pr0d3gi No, they aren't 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 You can get a nice modern apartment for $2,500-4,000 while Manhattan is like 10-20k for a nice apartment. I've lived in both.

These prices for these studios😂Smh, If you’re not stuck on living in the city, move to queens. You’ll find a nice spacious 1 bedroom. Or atleast find an updated/serviced studio for around the same price range. 35-45 min train commute.
