Hi, people think these are my videos, but in fact they were made by Oliver Schomburg (2nd Dan) and are on his youtube channel. So of course I cannot take credit for these. So he is the man to thank! He took videos of my seminars again (just like two years ago) and made these films. For those who attended the seminars, what is featured on here is less 10% of what we actually covered. Of course I can also see that Bertel has good physical qualities. However, I cannot follow the enthusiasm of many people who think that they confuse this with actual effectiveness in a real fight. Would Bertel know how to do these things against a well trained fighter in Thaibox or MMA? Or can he only do them with pupils who (between fear and respect) do not really attack?

Karate was never meant for the ring. If punching the opponent through the throat and crushing his testicles with a kick is forbidden, then Karate has no place there.

@@altar7885 well then he should go to some bar in the USA and kick some Ass, or get his Ass kicked. He is so used to doing these demos with his seminar people standing there like telephone poles letting him kick and hit them so that he looks good. Try that with someone moving in a real fight.

Sensei Bertel worked several years as a bouncer/ doorman in various bars and clubs. And, if you don't believe his sense for realism/ streefighting(?), just go ahead and challenge him (and don't forget to take video and post it here, ok...;-)-...!
