I get what you're saying but personally I think it's way better this way, especially since Olly said that he's done writing in Drop D from now on. A full LP like this would be tiring, but the shorter format benefits a low from limited harmony, I think it sounds more cohesive in this case and gives the record a sense of continuity, it loops well too.
