I personally felt this animation was very inspirational esp for first time animators or anyone starting out for momentum. It Is not easy to finish work sometime esp when one expects immediate feedback, persistence pays off. I loved the transition of the under water tumbling to the stopped pose into the particular. Great job Olaf - you stuck to it and you've grown in your style of you profession as you do take full advantage of your experience with 3D in 4D cinema... great Job

I love how the chararacter flies in and then he just, like stands there awkwardly and stares au the viewer... Storytelling-wise im just confused why he stands around, then does these anime moves... Whats his deal haha It makes sense now considering it is the very first shot you made without considering the story, though

Hey Olof, I really liked this video.... some of the special effects were cool like the bright lights and the water effects, etc.... I was just curious approximately how long did this take you to make, and do you think it would take you much shorter time to make today, or about same amount of time? Thanks :)

Hey Chris, Thanks! I worked on and off on this film for a few months. Kinda explored it as I went on. So not a very structured project. I could definitely make this exact thing way faster today. Thought I would obviously aim for a different outcome now which again would take longer to make :).

Hey Olof, how do you manage flickering when drawing frame by frame?

Its just practice, keeping the shapes consistent throughout the animation and making sure they work in a sequence. Pay attention to each line, and flick back and forth between the frames to make sure they are in the right place.

@@OlofStorm Thanks! Onion skinning helps? I I use huion tablet for drawing, tried to use arrow keys for going back and forth bw frames but PS 2020 seems to be unresponsive to arrow keys?
