Because it’s the right thing to do. Any therapist or psychiatrist will tell you that. If it’s over and doesn’t mean anything, it’s only self-serving to confess. You assuage you guilty conscience just to hurt others needlessly. That is especially true when fragile Jessica is in the picture.
