As someone who doesn't know anything about Visual effects, This is something makes me realize how difficult it is and what are processes behind each project. Great Job on this. I feel like this is so underrated. I really like the humor and the editing of the video itself is good. You deserve a like and subscription!

As a vfx artist, I am glad to see people understand and appreciate how difficult and time-consuming it can be. Many of the things we do do not get noticed in the final product, but the final product would look bad without them.

And this is where being both and SFX and VFX guy makes life easier. I’d first have taken the model and added some washed to match it more to the bg plate. That would make blending a lot easier. And keying with a single key is always a bad idea. I always use at least two keys a core matte and an edge matte. And the keying the sky on the cut out Eiffeltower, would’ve been one of the first things I would’ve done. But that’s just all experience and in too lazy to roto 😂

I think anyone who loves their job occasionally will still ask "why do I still do this for a living", because inevitably work is still work and can present unwelcomed challenges.

Well done! Yeah it’s not a fun job! The footage is getting worse and worse and sloppier every passing year. I tend to only bid on technical challenges, where also my coding and/or the SFX experience comes in.

Hi! I think this is a great video idea! I although I do believe the presentation to new viewers could be significantly improved. For starters the thumbnail is a bit too complicated, it's too many things to look at. Maybe what you can do is have only a demonstration of what 10 minutes and 1 hour look like side by side and keep the 4 hour result a mystery, similar to how it is now except the 4 hour mystery is not taking up space that could be used to attract more viewers rather than confuse and repel them. Secondly the title just does not roll off the tongue. Personally, I think a title like "VFX in 10 Minutes, 1 Hour, and 4 Hours" or "VFX in 10 Minutes vs 1 Hour, and 4 Hours". The main problem with the title is that it says "vs" too much making it repetitive and quite mundane apart from other titles out there. I have yet to watch the full video itself but I'm just hoping this could help as I nearly did not click on the video for the aforementioned reasons. Thanks for the tutorials btw 😎. Super useful!
