Kirsan and Kasparow should play a game of chess and the winner should be named the president :D

Kirsan learned playing chess from aliens. So I think he would win.

Thank you again for your interviews Mr. King. For almost all your Power Play Chess vids, I post them in the chess group I belong too on facebook for the other members to see. One bit of unsolicited life advice, though, Mr. King...never ask a lady her age, LOL. They can get annoyed by that, hahaha.

Jason Doe its common courtesy
@jasondoe259610 жыл бұрын
valentijnraw It is common, indeed; it is also a relic of past discriminations (positive or negative, depending on one's perspective) - and getting insulted by that would be quite immature, IMO. I *do* get what you are saying. It's a question I avoid asking myself, *independently* of gender. But I don't take interviews ;) Anyway, let's not linger on that - I thought it was obvious that the question in my previous comment was rhetorical.

could anybody elaborate on daniel's final question to the players? i'm asuming "gary" is Gary Kasparov, but who is the other and what is the significance of the question? sounds like it has to do with politics and is it related to this tournament, the city of tromsø etc? thx

@jasondoe259610 жыл бұрын
...Not to mention, she's been "Krush-ing" chess opponents left and right. I swear, some people are blessed with everything, beauty, wits, talent, even suitable surnames ;-) She likes photography (I do, too!). It makes you wonder how much of a "visual person" she is and whether it helps her ability to visualise the board. Who knows, maybe there is a greater percentage of photographers among chess Grandmasters than among the general population. If anyone is interested in her (very nice) chess lectures, there are some delivered to a live audience at the Saint Louis Chess Club; check out their youtube channel. P.S. Great coverage and interviews by GM King, just as expected - thanks!
