A clash of generations. If memory serves, I recall watching GM Stefansson play a lot of blitz on the ICC, all the way back in the 20th century. :) Thanks for presenting the game!

It's pretty funny that the worst position he got all tournament was 10 moves into the first game. Since then he played what 400 moves or so across all games? And he was equal or better in every single one of them.

He did get into some trouble in the final game , but yes that's stunning to put it mildly!

I really really enjoyed this game. In all honesty - on a much higher level - it is one of those games that could have easily appeared on any club-level player's chessboard. No magic, nothing fancy, just solid good everyday chess.,, Thank you Daniel!

b6 followed by exchanging the problem Bishop was played by Capablanca against Botvinnik in AVRO, and White won instructively. It could be because the Knight was too far away from the main action while White was essentially in the driver seat

Due to misplacemen of Na6, b6 and Ba6 is pretty dubious plan. This is the difference between an ordinay GM without talent and a super GM. In hundreds of games online I played exactly the plan you suggested (Qc7, Nc6 and Ne4) easily neutralizing the London System, scoring 62% of win. I saw that plan in a your instructive video included in chessbase opening encyclopedia.

Well, what's your plan for that lightsquare bishop? Without that plan or some plan it can easily become blacks worst piece. It sucks that the knight isn't great but having a blockaded bishop for a long time isn't great either.

Was it 10/11 for Arjun or 10.5/11, Since he didn't lose any game and the game he didn't win was a draw?

Interesting principle at 4:02...when a knight blocks a pawn, it weakens squares that pawn would otherwise be able to defend.
