Olympics 2024 LIVE: Watch party for the opening ceremony

AP is live with arrivals, watch parties and views of the Eiffel Tower in Paris on opening ceremony day for the 2024 Olympic Games. Instead of a traditional march into a stadium, about 6,800 athletes will parade on more than 90 boats on the Seine River for 3.7 miles. This will start the ceremony, not mark the end of it, another break from tradition.

Its more shameful that your mind is so rotten to the extent that you are almost entitled to notice only those features from the Olympic Opening and then create borad generalisations. I did not even notice them. What I noticed was the Creative concept of a river parade, the humorous depiction of the French Revolution and it slogans, The Emotional performance of Imagine in dark stillness, the knight on horse charging through the Seine to bring in peace and unity, The stunning Laser show, the concise powerful speeches, Recognising the ROC and the first ever floating Olympic Flame together with Celine's stellar performance. I didn't see anything but Beuaty, Creativity and Unity at its core which was came together by inter connecting the entire Paris Metropolis through the non-stadium concept. For someone to see a few men in dresses and be disgusted speak a lot of volume for the nature of their mind compared to one that looks past it and appreciates the creativity and celebration of thd Olympic Spirit which France hailed.

France is generous enough to host the Olympic Games free of charge, unlike the #1 extremely superpower (self-proclaimed) on the Internet, India. India being the 5th largest economy of the world, has never hosted the Olympic games when they are poor/rich, unlike China/France. China had voluntarily made a bid to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for the right to host the Olympic games in year 2008 when they are poor, and once again in the year of 2022 when they are much wealthier. That is the difference in ethics and culture between these countries. Two of them believes in "the spirit of giving unconditionally" or generosity no matter whether they are rich or poor, the other believes in taking but not sharing/giving.
