That was a 6km Prologue where Wiggins tends to finish second. Over the longer distances Wiggins was unbeaten because he can crank out more power, while Cancellara tends to win when it comes to bike handling.

It's a qualifier not a competition race so results aren't counted as wins or losses. A rider's strategy may mean they don't want to start first in the tour so deliberately don't put in 100%
