Here my conclusion:
Well, 1999 the digital camera technique was in the beginning and 0.1 MP more was a minor revolution.
The relative large CCD sensor with 1/2.0"was another remarakable feature.
Today, I know why they builded-in an optical viewfinder.
On one hand it was the transition from analog cameras to digital cameras and on the other hand it was basically an emergency solution in concerns of high power consumption.
Back then you might had strong 1.5V batteries, but the rechareable 1.2V batteries didn't had the high milliampere like today.
The LCD monitors pulling a lot of power and draining your batteries quickly - especially if you shoot pictures in the TIFF format which can takes up to 30 seconds before you can even change anything on the camera.
As soon you see the battery warning symbol you get afraid if the next picture wil lbe saved completely - in such cases - you turned off the live view and used the viewfinder....
My copy of this camera has heavy fungus behind the air lens - but I don`t see any irregularities in the subjective quality of the pictures.
It a good camera, but rather for your shelf or for fun in 2022.
Sorry, I could not post the reports because of the limitation of characters in the "Video Details".
Thanks for watching.
