Olympus E-P1 in 2022

In 2009 olympus announced their first digital pen camera. The e-p1. And the first camera with the new mft sensor and mount. I was so fascinated of the size, the look and quality of this camera, that it was a must have. The imagequality was(and is) very good, the colors are so nice! Today, you can get it for little money and it's still worth it!

I bought 2 of these recently. Unbelievable value. Great color Super sharp with 20mm f1.7 and its smaller than my x100. I paid $150 for a perfect ep1 in the box and the lens . I bought second one in the box for $50 . Its crazy how cheap these are

I have one from 2013.with my zuiko 45mm f1.8 and sigma 30mm f2.8 art the results are really good

I love how it has the "E" in the same font as the E1. Remembering the cameras that came before it.

I bought mine in January and I love it. I'm still figuring out how to get it to perform well in low light though

Don't shoot in manual mode, that's how I got better results.

would you recommend this for a beginner trying to try his hands on photography? there's one in an e-commerce selling for around 50 bucks and I'm really tempted to buy it edit: it's the EPL 1 not EP 1

The EPL1 was the cheaper one in this series, but the Sensor is the same. The results are the same and if you get used to it, you can get very nice pictures! For a beginner...I think maybe a more modern camera is the better way.

Thank you for this video. Which One lens have you used ti have these result? I have Pana 14-45 and 45-200 but i think My lens are not the best for body ep1. What do you think? Ciao.

The older London pics are shot with the original kit lens 14-42mm. The rest with the 17mm f2.8. In general I think Olympus made really good lenses. I never used Panasonic on Olympus, sorry.

You can't open the Batterydoor? There's no other way to charge it, only in the external charger.
