I have same setup,Its my first time using it,and the pictures i got ,some are focused ,some are out of focus,especially when people are moving,I not sure if im doing something wrong ,if i need to press the shutter as fast as I can or its simply not for moving subjects,also I noticed the focus is at the center so most likely you need to focus and recomposed if there are like 2 more people plus background. Now i noticed that ,Ill check if i can get better pics in my second roll,btw the flash also is very bright im thinking of putting a magic tape on it just to diffuse it..

To be honest the MJU-II isn't the quickest for focusing so I think you have to judge each situation as it comes. I wouldn't say it's the best for moving subjects so sometimes it's easier to pre-focus at a certain range then fire from my own experience. However, I still love this camera and some of the results I get from it are just brilliant.

Howie Mudge Photography I got some really nice portrait which I framed already,the colors turns out nice if you are using natural light,if flash is on ,it darkens the background which I dont like,I was actually thinking of experimenting with slave flash,btw im using rechargeable battery have you tried removing the battery while theres film on it? Cause it think it will rewind the film of you put it back...

I can't say I've removed the battery with a film in. Have you tried just the fill flash setting on the camera? It does a much better job to my eyes than the automatic setting when you switch the camera on. I generally don't use the flash to be honest but a couple of photos I took with fill flash worked quite well.

Howie Mudge Photography I actually didnt know it has fill flash,the lcd in my camera is defective ,I barely see any thing it displays,i see the part where it turns off the flash but on the left i dont,...

If you press the flash button twice it'll go to fill flash if you need it. If you press it once it disables the flash. My biggest gripe with the camera is it turns the flash on automatically everytime you switch the camera on and its sometimes easy to forget to disable the flash.

I’ve got the original Mju 1 and it’s really bad, I prefer to use my XA or XA2.

I can't comment on the original MJU as I've not used it but I really like the MJU-II. Both the XA and XA2 are great cameras, like most Olympus cameras :) Thanks for watching.
