Thank you for a great review, I purchased this camera based on your review. When the package arrived, the CD was cracked, so I had to go over your review several times to learn how to use it. Thank you for the great detail. I read all the comments and had to go back and listen for what everyone was complaining about. Yes! This is the really best film about this camera on YT. Just decided to buy one thanks to this tutorial. There is a very importatnt info about the angle of the lens while recording with image stabilizer :-) As I know they don't mention about it in the manual :-/ Thank You :-)

Another great camera review. I hadn't come across the TG-Tracker before. The absence of external mic accommodation is a drawback for vlogging purposes, which is a pity because otherwise it looks like a serious contender as an all round hemet cam.

You can change the angle in settings and use underwater lens cover. The image can also be flipped in settings.

Stopp recording after 4 GB in says so in the user manual.In the lowest resolution in 30 fps means that it will record 100 minutes,My camera it stops after 40 minutes.And the reason for that is that the processor probably overheats ?The camera becomes hot.The flashlight in the camera only works for 60 seconds.Nightvision sucks bigtime.Batterytime 90 minutes according to the manual.However i use a powerbank to prolong that batterylife.120 and 240 fps no sound.The manual is pretty good..

So I get that if I want to reduce the fish-eye effect I can narrow the field of view by switching to underwater mode (at the expense of losing some range of view). And that using image stabilization further reduces field of view... thus further reducing the fish-eye effect. But is the rectangular lens cover necessary when using underwater mode to modify the field of view (but NOT using underwater, rather just to reduce view field and fish-eye)? Or is that rectangular lens cover just necessary due to the underwater environment?

Nice review. I bought this camera a while back. In the beginning I thought it was just my lack of knowledge, but after lots of searching it seems there are a few issues. Firstly, when I'm in the viewing/gallery mode and want to exit, it does nothing. I go to menu, press "exit", but it just stays in the gallery and it seems the only way out is to power off and on again. Do you have this problem? The other annoying thing is that my timelapse videos seem to stop when they reach 4GB. Video loop does not seem to work with the timelapse. I would really love a fix for this if anybody knows how.

Press the record button to back out of the gallery mode. It will not record. As far as the timelapse, are you saying your memory card is full at 4GB or that it will not record more than 4GB?

I would imagine that it can only track you if your camera is receiving a GPS signal. In other words, above water and in a reception conducive environment. The editing app sucks.. however it is a great camera.. I've had it for about a year now and the only thing I don't like is that.. you can't vlog and the mounting options when on a motorcycle are very limited when placing on a helmet.. it also looks awkward when mounting on the side of a motorcycle helmet.. I think it's better to simply place on the bike itself. If this camera had the design of a gopro and vlogging capabilities.. it would kill Gopro

I have bought one of these cameras and was very impressed with it. Just one point for us easily distracted viewers... Please, please, turn down the background music (xylophone?) about 10db. I could hardly hear what you were saying over the unnecessary and unwelcome noise. Is it a generational thing? No need for any 'comfort music' in my view. It just makes it harder to focus on what you are saying. Thanks
