@@madrx2Nowhere near the popularity of the 2jz mate. Not many down under know about Merc engines for whatever reason. M103 & M104 variations are brilliant petrol motors as well

@@izzy031096 absolutely agree - OM605 for a 5 cylinder is killer and so is the OM606. The M103 and M104 are super strong and you can push them to the limits too with boost. I am going to embark on something probably crazy and do EFI and turbo to my M102 8V in my old G wagon :)

Good video. Diesel Patrol goes great. OM606 is mechanical injected diesel right? How did you get the ZF to work with this engine? I though these ZFs need inputs like engine torque output.

Thanks, the OM is full mechanical yes. It uses internal torque calculation through a map I wrote on the Turbo Lamik TCU

This is a diesel ... first use 4x4 0 wheel slip.. it is a 8 speed gear box.. you skift before maximum tourq not RPM .. NOT HORSE POWER.. DIESEL IS TOUREQ.. NOT HP.. FIND MAX NM ... THATS WHY A DISEL HAS A LOT OF GIERS... LIMITED RPM MAX TOURQ SHIFT SHIFT SHIFT SHIFT 4X4...
