OM642 MERCEDES ENGINE TICKING NOISE (SOLVED) BAD INJECTOR GASKET ON JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE WH WK CRD

in this video you can see a very common problem that occurs when the injector gasket, after several years of use, is no longer able to hold the pressure generated in the combustion chamber.

Should use a new hold down bolt . They are a stretch bolt .

I seen you supposed to use a ceramic grease on the injector too but I haven’t seen any one use it on any video.

Not should... you have to use a new bolt or ull be doing the same repair very soon.

@@vanishingfox1339 ceramic grease will help you get the injector out. A new stretch bolt is the only way to keep the injector in.

You have to try with some WD-40 or something similar. Let it work for few days before the injector job

Use brake fluid and leave it overnight for 1 or 2 days. It will come out, no doubt. If need be, buy one of those cheap pullers with a hammer that slides up to pull on the injector, they're worth the money.
