The source is not only low resolution but also low quality and over compressed video with badly recorded audio, so don't expect a miracle. The muffled cymbals were not possible to cure without destroying the brass section.

I've just noticed the debate below about the date of this performance but no, the fanny pack settles it. There is no other explanation. Maybe his drumming was so good it opened a whole in the space-time continuum?
