Henry Morgan chose Normandy and planned for a three beach landing. Montgomery revised and expanded the plan to 50 miles front and 5 beaches. The strategy was Montgomery's who presented it to Ike and Churchill as well as others at St Paul's school on 15 May.

Excellent comment: as you wrote, Montgomery's plan was to 'suck-in' the Panzer forces onto his 21st Army Group sector, leaving Bradley to plan the outbreak, all of which Monty had set out with great clarity to the assembled top military and political brass at St. Paul's School on the 17th April and 15th May 1944. Monty's plan worked, drawing in the Germans to a titanic struggle which would wear them down. When the Americans broke out (Bradley's "Operation Bradley") they faced seriously diminished German forces: "Certainly if even a single Panzer division had been put in reserve, the American break-out at St. Lo (25th July-4th Aug) would have been more difficult" "Richard Lamb "Montgomery in Europe". Why don't they highlight the Khazarian Clark's actions at Anzio? Freyberg's on Crete? Oh, oh, Room 101 for me.

Would've been nice to here about General Bradley. A disorganized lecture

Read the book, very detailed, but lots of ... not so much errors but incorrect identification of some leaders and generals. I would have thought thought Steven Ossad would have done better research.....he referred to Henry Duncan Graham Crerar as a British General, he was Canadian, as one example.
