Khaled ibn al Waleed ra - the greatest commander in the history of the world who led over 100 battles and list none of them, definitely studied the tactics & strategies of the world's 2nd best commander of all time - Hannibal of the Barca clan because anytime 1 of KBW's divisions was in a dire state and about to be over run, he would send a mounted unit that always seemingly came out of nowhere and was always in the perfect place at the perfect time to cut them down from behind or from the wing just like Hannibal did!! The same Hannibal that fought that same evil, cruel Roman empire! The biggest difference is that the Muslim Arabs eventually brought down the majority of the empire, taking away all its power & influence with the Muslim Turks pounding in the final nails of the coffin with the conquering and liberation of Constantinople!! The zio/west/greek history books leave out the part where the people of the former lands of the byzantines welcomed the Muslim Arabs and Turks as liberators and not as invaders since life was much better for them under the Muslims even though they were orthodox Christians!

You want a beautiful story, the story of the leader of the Muslim army of Granada, “Ibrahim Al-Attar,” who fought with only 100 knights to defend the city of Locha, an army to fight a large army numbered in the thousands, and he fought for half a day until he was martyred while defending his city. His statue in Andalusia was made by the Spanish as a testimony to his heroism.

There is a book I strongly recommend for everyone to read. It's named "Khalid Ibn Al Walid" the sword of Allah. Its author is a former general of Pakistani army named Agha Ali Akram. It is obligatory for a Pakistani soldier to read this book due to it containing strategy and tactics Khalid used against Byzantines , Sassanian Persians and Arab Apostates. It reflects the great Conquest of Arab Muslims with you utmost Praise of it. Using mostly Classical Islamic sources but at the same time allot of modern sources as well!😊

Your numbers for Yarmouk are wrong. Modern historians believe that there were at least 60k romans vs 40k or less arabs. 150k in the 600s is literally impossible, the Eastern Roman Empire under Maurice ( in 600 ) had a total of 150k in the whole empire, Italy, the balkans, Anatolia, Syria, Palestine, from Egypt to Morocco and south of Spain to the defend, it's literally impossible that they had 150k in one battle, they were also getting invaded in the balkans. But it's a good video. Just don't fall for the bias of Muslim chronicles because they often exaggerate numbers in order to glorify their side.
@aburoach9268
@aburoach9268 Ай бұрын
No, You are wrong, 150k Roman troops at Yarmouk is totally possible & even very likely true. Listen to this: After Hannibal won like at least 5 or so battles against Rome and destroyed many legions, the Romans still raised 80k troops against him at Cannae and we even praise the Romans for being able to replace army after army with a never ending supply of troops and yet here you are trying to convince us that the Byzantine empire of the 600s is incapable of raising 150 000 troops despite having more then 10 times the population that the Roman republic of Hannibals time had ? I say no, you are wrong, 150 000 is certainly possible if reserves and forced conscription are included first off, the exaggerations are the Arab estimates of 200k to 500k troops which are more likely caused by counting error rather then purposeful exaggeration for glory which does not make sense which I'll explain at the end , but the 150k comes from the 105 000 death Roman troops that the Rashiduns counted after the battle along with the 40 000 that they captured alive, the additional 5000 could be for the death one's that they didn't find in the ravine or the few that managed to survive and flee Yarmouk those 150k under Maurice that you mentioned is the Active army, the amount of troops the empire can actively keep on duty while maintaining a stable economy, but that's not the max military potential, If in case of a massive threat they could include reserves which could make that 150k increases 3 times if not more and reach 450k to 500k troops max, every country, empire and state has had active troops and reserve troops, you never keep all troops you can possibly muster on active duty or your economy will collapse, it's not sustainable for long periods and only done in emergency situations like when you are getting conquered by Arabs and you loosing battle after battle along with your Sassanian neighbour, then yeah, you will throw in everything you have According to Theophannes his sources, total Byzantine land army in 641 reached 109k, that's during Amr's conquest of egypt and right after Arab conquest of the Levant, You cannot tell me that the Romans would not send at least half of all the strength they could muster to defend their most holy provinces, so they may have kept 100k - 150k active troops in total before the Rashidun invasion, but then during it pressed the emergency button and increased it with Reserves up to 250k - 300k from which 150k were lost at Yarmouk and thus 109 000 troops remained after it, that's totally possible. Muslim chronicles exaggerating numbers to glorify their side makes no sense if they literally mentioned in their sources a battle (Uhud) that their holy prophet lost and got wounded in (their most important person), it cannot get more objective then that

Cope, cope brother i know this historical fact of desert beduin nomad defeating two superpowers simultaneously really does hurts. But it did happened within 5yrs of prophet Muhammads death his followers decimated the Persian empire and drove mighty Romans out of Damascus and Jerusalem. 100yrs after his death the grandchildren of his followers were in France fighting the battle of Talas. They had carved out the greatest empire the world had ever seen up until stretching from Spain to Pakistan. Let that sink in.

Turks are muslims, so therefore Muslims conquered the byzantines. what you wrote makes no sense. Islam does not allow for nationalism to takle place. we are all muslims first then our ethnicity.
