I was considering to get pne for a daily watch especially the red bezel with the white dial on the nato strap.

That’s a nice color combo. My only concern on NATO would be it might be a little top heavy.

@@DougFNJ According to Omega's site the total watch weights 118 g compared to on the bracelet 215g or may get a Aqua Terra with the silver dial on the rubber strap that weights 107g so not much difference.

@@toneswinger Just edited my comment, I meant top heavy lol. It’s a thick watch, but Omega NATO straps are nice and thick, never hurts to give it a go.

Yes buddy,but at the moment it's on a very beautiful black and grey NATO strap for that James bond look,it's certainly different to my no time to die omega

Beautiful, yes, rare, they could definitely be found for purchase if you are looking for one, but rare to see them in the wild. I 100% agree, this was the best color combo version they released.

The exposed gap on the bracelet extension looks off when i showed the people at the Omega boutique this they didn't know what i was talking about. Good review

I'm wearing my titanium version and just finished watching the video. Even in titanium I know it's there, because these are just big watches. However, Omega does such a nice job with the case and the junction with the female end-links that it wears like a dream. I love the 8900 movement and would say mine runs maybe +1 to +1.5 seconds per day....just an amazing timekeeper. None of my 6 Rolexes come close (except the Oysterquartz). My wrist varies a lot but I think it's about 6.75 inches around or so, and again it fits great. I first noticed the Planet Ocean on the wrist of an actor in Westworld, the TV series. The bracelet was what attracted me. They did such a great job with the links that I think it's an icon....I think I'm the first person who's said that. The links in this bracelet are perfection. This watch deserves a lot more recognition. Nice video. Keep it up.

Thank you very much Watchman. I totally agree with the links, instantly recognizable to this watch. Perfect heft, and creates balance keeping the watch from being top-heavy. My biggest gripe is Omega's version of the extention. For such a great bracelet, the gap created in the extension looks bad. Rolex, Tudor, IWC, now even TAG Heuer create a hidden link extension system which looks so much better when extended. The watch definitely has a lot of respect, and the movements are incredible. what I like of this model is its own personality. it’s not just anothe “submariner” wanna be. In fact it is superior by far in any aspect

It definitely sets itself apart from standard Sub and Seamaster type watches, but it’s not trying to be one of those.

I have this this watch and a Sub, and they both satisfy very different needs. Love them both, but the Omega has something special. It’s my daily driver.

I found it interesting that you also suffer from wrist bloating. I thought I was the only one. My solution has been to discard the bracelets on my new watches and order a silicone strap from Esslinger that I can adjust throughout the day as needed. That diving extension you previewed would likely fit the bill if it is easy to adjust during the day.

More deal with it than you would think, just some worse than others. Some days I could find myself adjusting the sizes 2-3 times a day lol

I love the planet oceans, but heavily leaning toward the sea master 300m after all the positive reviews. Now to decide on the the dial colour

Well, also was wondering is it white gold or not and Omega confirmed me it’s a white gold haha

That is the weirdest thing. a local Omega boutique called them, they looked up the parts and said it was Rhodium plated, Watchbox stated white gold, and you also spoke to Omega who stated White Gold. A number of others I know of called and got different answers. I wish they would just advertise it, it would be good for marketing if it is White Gold.

They are rhodium plated, if it were white gold it would say the quantity of white gold on the hang tag! The new ultra deeps are white gold.

Had to give it a re-listen to, I read it off the METAS specs, saying minus 0 to plus 5 seconds. I believe I stopped repeating the minus zero in future videos, and added that it should never lose time. Thanks for watching, and taking the time to comment.
