Omegahedron Artifact: Is It actually Worth It?

I use the omagehedron as a healer since it does still give extra power Regen. Which is great for me since I don't have to rely on the troll as much. And sadly I don't see too many good artifacts for myself. And it does give extra power stats which is great.

I use omegahedron for healing only (im celestial) so the power regen is more usefull to me than having the starhearth. Or so i think ;) Nice video thanks for the info

Nice vid :) Just out of curiosity in your opinion do you think it's worth it to rank up Tetrahedron of Urgrund beyond 120? I kinda wanna wait and see if another might artifact like solar amplifier comes out in the future, but just curious on what other DPS think about this.

for now I would wait, there is still always a chance of someone else in the group running the tetra to buff you but until we know for sure which shouldn't be too long there was a scheduled TC release before the new dlc anyways and tanks and healers especially with might dps have no real 3rd artifact now that they have the extra slot so they need to come out with 1 for each role.

It seems there is a sophisticated method to testing all the nuances of a loadout. Im an average and I can't figure out how to accurately test a power or laodout. Will you be doing an in depth guide to go about testing an individual loadout.

I think this would be helpful to pure weaponized dps users that don’t use a soul cloak nor a super charger but it should be paired with a demon’s fang imo

For my atomic tank I use Dilustel Refractor and Omegahedron. Sadly I can't seem to find other artifacts that would work for me or make any sense to choose for my atomic tank. Well.... maybe Tetrahedron of Urgrund as a 3rd choice. Yes it would give extra stats so i got to choose something. As a atomic tank I do not use any supercharge in my build so Scrap of the Soul Cloak is useless to me. I barely if at all use my weapon on my atomic tank so Cog of Mageddon is out of the question. For me I find they do not really have good artifacts for tanking either. Who knows maybe later on in the future they'll make more. Good video thou and thank you for sharing.

For sure, the atomic tanks I know run Mass Density for the SC so they use scrap for that, but considering the power requirements sometimes for atomic tanking you aren't wrong in levelling the omega, it would be more useful then just levelling something just for the dom stat increase, at least you can use the omega for dps role as well.

I do use Density not Mass Density. In solo, duo, alerts and normal raids. It been good so far and it recharges fast specially with the Accelerated Density in back slot. For elites I can not say if I would need Mass Density since I have not done any elites with atomic tank. My atomic cr 175 just haven't gotten brave enough to venture into elites yet lol. However I have done elites on other character just not on my atomic tank. It does make sense to take Mass Density in elites to help protect the group or other places that are difficult. Because I personally don't like to copy what other players have, even though there are but so many combinations to a loadout. So if you could help give a systematic how to guide testing powers that would be most appreciated

Lol second time watching this it not worthless but it’s not worth it lol 😂 but it makes since to have or make use of I still think it’s for weapon based users or trolls that don’t really want to have to use sodas but still will probably have to it should be paired with demons fang for the post regen they both give still my opinion but trolls have waaaay Better options when it comes to artifacts and prec users also yep it went from could be used to maybe not to trash healers you said hmmmmmm maybe but as a healer I run demons fang and sometimes never need a troll and I’ve never touched the omegahedron I guess it all about play style with this artifact and the user totally in my opinion ty for the video

for sure I just meant my guide series that I only do on live server. But yea its shame technologically they can't do any sort of PS test sever, they would certainly get more testers with the games population being so skewed to PS players.

ObsidianChillDCUO I agree 100% but I think PC just has better support for things like test server hopefully one day they'll have the technology or the skills to develop some sort of testing for us console players and I think it would benefit them as well to get more feedback for bug fixes,nerfing,buffing,etc

yea the issue has always been any test server update they wanted to apply to a PS server would have to clear playstation etc just like they have to normally which would be a hindrance especially with sometimes daily updates they do to the test server. Plus a PS player would have to redownload the entire game just like PC players do but with taking up alot of space on a PS than it would a PC which are just a couple of reasons :(

I've been running this on muni dps because the only diff I saw vs tetra (which doesn't buff stack) was more power. My others are amplifier and cloak. Am I wrong there?

for now there isn't a 100% right and wrong answer until we get a new PFTT artifact. If someone else in the group is buffing you with a higher tetra then you're good but since mine is at 160 and I have 146sp into health its like a 0.1% chance someone is gunna out buff me so I run the tetra for the better might myself. But until there is a new artifact I can't saw you're wrong etc but depending on your SP you could have better might with the tetra is all.

It seems the dcuo loadout guides are directed at their damage numbers because of their stats where if I had the same loadout my number will be significantly different. So if I wanted a different customized loadout how do I test it to see numbers that can compete.

It gets a little bit trickier when comparing much lower might numbers. If you are able to use this rotation or one from my other guides for example you can tell at 20-30k might etc what the damage would look like and then compare it to your damage output and get an estimate the difference. In terms of testing a power if you have your "Damage Summary" enabled in your chat settings you will be able to see the parsers like I have. This will be the method you want to use to determine your damage output.

I'm a atomic tank and I got the Solar Amplifier, Tetrahedron and Omegahenron but do dps mostly and tank at the bosses tho I keep my gear stat with tank, I like to deal out a lot of damage and be able to take hits cause I don't want to rely on others. So what would be 2 good artifacts for me, I don't want to loses Solar cause it ups the damage for heat vision which I use a lot but if there is really a far better artifact then I my rethink it?

nah not at the moment, there isn't a good option for might dps besides those 3 and maybe Scrap of the Soul Cloak and those 3 you use. I would just keep doing what you're doing artifact wise until a better artifact for might dps comes out.

Just curious I run a mental DPS toon. I run tetrahedron, scrap of the soul cloak, and omega. Which artifact should I replace the omega with. I play solo alot if that matters.

You might as well stick with the omega for now, there is no real 3rd choice for might based dps. The solar amplifier would give you the highest might base stats but its not worth levelling if you already have the omega. Mental is a special case because of how power heavy it is and omega is better suited for that despite my examples in this video. You won't be consistently using your rotation in solo content or by yourself that often compared to a raid or testing on parsers so omega's power return should proc alot more for you.

Pixel Tears best bet now is the nth metal detectors, can get them from the broker or marketplace and they give a good boost in xp now

If you haven't levelled it at all yet I would say no, keep the 3 that you have xp already in and wait for a good 3rd healer artifact to come. If your omega is already at a ok xp level then yea you could prob drop the starheart and run omega if you wanted but its really not going to help nature healing that much compared to say electric.

yea it seems its more designed to supplement the power you get from a controller in a raid or alert and its not designed just to help power yourself.

Been playing this game hard an have artifacts over 140 an none at 160 yet an it's taking way to long an replay badges aren't cheap . An there is no reason to drop 400 bucks a month on any game

Flame if you find yourself taking awhile to get nth metal for the 160s look into getting some nth metal detectors from the broker or even if you find a 10psn those nth metal detectors are cheap on the marketplace and you do get a lot of xp from them. May help you get to 160
