There's something sexy having a a laptop to the side like a console experience almost . Connected to external monitor is awesome I have mine connected to a Gigabyte QHD 170hz adaptive sync is nice .

I own and currently use the 27i model and have been loving it paired with my series x and zephyrus G14. Checks many feature boxes most people want but would have liked to see the change the shape of the headphone stand, the shape is too sharp and will damage many headsets. Overall amazing monitor though, Omen has been killing it recently.

I think you can get the GK-650F for $400 now, $350 for just a 165Hz FHD panel seems kinda steep imo, you could get 240Hz panels for similar price maybe

They said $500 was too much for the 27i too but their sales are savage. I’ve seen the 27i at $350-380 before. I’d rather no sale exist and sell it at $400 (regarding the 27i) but what do I know lol.

Check out new HP 16.1 and 17 inch Omen 16 announced today. Trying to cancel my order for Omen 15. 2 more weeks and if they don’t ship it on time, I can cancel it. With the QHD panel I selected, I doubt they will ship it on time. Could not find a single person online who has QHD Omen 15. It’s scandalous that my unit is not even in production and HP supervisor could not cancel it, but submitted a request

PS5 still doesn't support VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) so maybe you should try to disable FreeSync on monitor and check if 120Hz works then on PS5 (in Performance Mode on PS5). Disclaimer: There is possibility that not every high refresh rate monitor will works with 120Hz on PS5.

hi, i lost the power cable for this monitor a while ago and ive been trying to find it online and i cant. i followed the power cable specs on the website but the port that u plug the wire into on the monirot looks different from all of them.

helloo so i know this is not conected to this video but i have a problem and i believe u. Other day i did thermal compound change on my ASUS ROG G531gu, i disconected battery from motherboard during that process as recommended. Then something interesting and weird started going on. On my laptop when my icon for battery is not filled (is blank) but it says its connected. When i pressed on battery it showed its 100 percent and if i hover over my battery icon it says its 255 percent!!! My laptop was working on battery life no problem until battery got discharged. I cant charge battery and it wont work on battery. My icon is same as before discharge. What do i do pls help

Will you review the g15 advantage edition ? I heard there's some issue with LM on GPU but it's also said it's just that ppl bought from best buy open box so how's the new batch I'm sure Asus didn't just used LM just to have issues and I'm thinking the new batch is doing great please review the g15 advantage edition and do open the vapor chamber and I want your opinions on it 👍🏼

I’m assuming that upstream USB cable will have something to do with it. I will check their support page to see if there’s a Farmer update plug it in and go from there. I had this monitor before it was even available so there was nothing I was able to experiment with as far as understanding how the whole update process went 👍

Monitor makers are disillusioned with what people want to me. No offense to you or HP since I see the same with others, but I'd kill to give some real consumer input to these companies... $350 for a 1080p IPS 165hz monitor is nuts to me in 2021. The 2021 iPad pro has a better screen than 90% of gaming monitors for non e sport players which is sad. Mini LED, true HDR, 120hz, high contrast, 600 nits, 1000 HDR peak brightness, local dimming, etc.

@@BobOfAllTrades Hopefully the price drops sooner rather than later. There’s an Acer 24” 1080p 165 Hz IPS monitor with a height adjustable stand that’s on sale for $200 at Best Buy right now. The Omen’s extra software and OSD features add value but in my humble, $279 is about the absolute maximum it’s worth, provided it can deliver proper refresh rate compliance without significant overshoot or ghosting. I’m hopeful Hardware Unboxed will test it since they have the tools to make precise measurements.

@@BobOfAllTrades Main standout is the color volume. It's better than the competition in the 300 to 400$ bracket. But all the other brands offer 240hz starting at 300$ and I think 1080p 240hz is within reach of 2060 refresh 115w laptops for esports titles

Man that bad boy really has all the bells a whistles. Even has features I wouldn’t even think to look for with a monitor. Heck of a lot different from the old 23” Asus monitor I bought for my first custom pc build over a decade ago. I can’t go back to small monitors at this point though. I’ve gone big and never looked back. If they ever 18” laptops I’d buy them in a heartbeat. 🙃

@@umutweezyIt’s really a matter of personal preference. Some are happy at UHD 60hz and others want FHD with 120hz when available for their PS5 games. I have a PS5 and the C1 OLED. I much prefer 60hz and the higher resolution versus 1080 120hz.

ELUKTRONICS has updated their rp models with the new 3060 gpu's (well maybe just the 15, I'm not sure) so it's now the following... Ryzen 4800h cpu RTX 3060 gpu (don't know wattage) I bring this to your attention as I don't know if you were aware of the change, also I was wondering if there was a way to get a machine and do an updated review of it, if it's possible then great! If not then you have the knowledge that this change exists. Love the channel and keep on rocking! (Edit: so the new 3060's ARE on both rp-15/17 models....
