A week ago I bought a strong gaming pc , so I bought MSI Optix 24 for like 200eur, It was shit compared to my old Omen hp 25, I send MSI back and ordered LG Ultra gear 27gp850 ((didnt receive it yet) 400eur) The reason I didnt buy HP omen again is I like trying out new products.

@@YourFavouriteiA wow, i was on the fence of buyng the msi optix 24 last week, i switched from ps4 to a new sff pc for gaming and my main computer is a macbook pro so i only had a 720p 32” tv. I saw the omen 25i at 200€, looked at the totallydubbedHD review on my phone standing up in store and decided to buy it! I guess it was the right choice than. I miss the adjustable height on the stand, but a vesa afterarket stand is not that expansive 🙂

@@TotallydubbedHD got it yesterday. Smooth and colors are so good and well calibrated out of the box. I didn't get noticeable backlight bleeding but i was unlucky to have a panel osd that resets to default every time i put it on and off xD hp said you need to make changes through omen hub software and it will save the changes.. But like you said it doesn't have that much.

Thanks buddy, glad you like my reviews! As for G-Sync, at that price you won't find it due to the additional cost incurred by the manufacturer from Nvidia, which then adds onto the consumer. But you can get it unofficially to work, and without the full VRR range (G-Sync range effectively), by opting for a Freesync monitor, and using a DP cable and a 10-series NV card or above in order to get it to all work Hope that makes sense?

ive had this monitor for quite some time and it seem to adjust contrast when looking at a bright ingame area for example playing squad you and looking long distances. For some reason the contrast noticeably adjusts making the monitor simply a bright screen rather than showing the picture its extremly frustrating maybe its some setting i dont have enabled tho.. I have gone through everything and still nothing seems to work.. I prefer my older Benq Monitor in comparison

The more I watch this review the more BS it is, the HDR on it while gaming looks fucking aweful and very washed out, playing Assassins Creed Origins with HDR on makes the game look like someone smered mud over my screen it was so brown.... any game the colors are washed out....

@@TotallydubbedHD It's not hard you set the correct nits IE 450 - 470 range in games, the issue there's very little color saturation take Marvel Midnigh suns, Assassins creed Odyssey and Valhalla as well as Shadow of the Tomb Raider all 4 beautiful games with HDR off but the moment your turn HDR on all that color goes and your left with a brownish dull image..... the 25i gives you no color controls when HDR is turned on and other then turning the HDR brightness to full in windows setting theres nothing you can do. Turn off HDR and the monitor is fantastic but I could have brought a non HDR monitor if I just wanted pretty colors.

@@maximusretardious4597 that's not my experience, though this doesn't have the highest HDR certification, which might explain why you're not overly impressed. But it shouldn't degrade the experience. As for colour adjustments etc; the whole purpose of HDR is to regulate it automatically, incl brightness. If done correctly, you'll be getting an even more accurate reproduction. @@TotallydubbedHD The darks and the lights I am very impressed with showing details better then SDR and being my first HDR monitor I am aware that my expectations maybe slightly high for an HDR400 but having HDR at the cost of having next to no colors leaving it looking brownish - green totally ruins the experience, the color on the skin goes to a grey brown and the fact that theres no way to fix it via the monitor itself is unforgivable but I will check out the link and ty for that.
