Hunter and Druid Are Unlike any class when Skill capp is so high. They can outsmart every class.. Hunter is made for Melee so every melee Is toyfor hunter. Warr dk deamon hunter.. are for ppl that lack in macro, keybind tactic. and still play avrage.. And all 3 are 0 fun in fun spells category.. Warr is so blank smash and bash class and Dk. you dont look ql. playing

from a roleplaying kind of view, it's kind of "cool" that warlock and hunter are the main counters against a druid, since a warlock pretty much represents the opposite of what a druid stands for and a hunter, as it is already within the name, is good at hunting, meaning you, being a druid and turning into animals, gives him an advantage over your ability.

Hunters are easy to beat as druid that's because 95% of them suck however u play caster druid to kill a hunter from range.Hunter has no silence to cancel your heals other than wyvern in survivalist.Main counter to druid is fear.So warlock mainly.

Careful with some of the tips in there. Rogues for example are a hard counter to non-feral Druids (to Druids who don't have Feral Faerie Fire more precisely). A geared rogue will kill you out of bear form during a single kidney shot, and there isn't much thing you can do about it. The opponents in this video are terrible (see Lock who doesn't sacrifice his voidwalker, shaman backpedaling, etc), so it's really not a good example. Go check Fainaru Furasshu vids for a better idea of what it's like to play against normal opponents.

Hey man, great guide, thank you. Regarding the warlock issue, there is blacksmithing trinket that makes you immune to fear for 30 sec, really worth taking BS if you gonna hardcore PvP. Finally I got a question, you said you are using healing gear for PVP, which enchantments are you using on? I hope you gonna make more druid guides (weapon swapping, macros, ect..) since it was very informative

You are missing out on a fair amount of damage by not using your combo points early via rip. For almost the entire fight with warlock you had 4 combo points from the start you never used...you typically want to rake, into a 3-4 point rip, moonfire, insect swarm, and then either kite, bear, heal, etc. The rip damage isn't make or break, but its better than 0 damage, which you had the entire time with sitting on 4 combo points.

You can hibernate his pet, root the hunter and stay in his dead zone to zerg him down with spells. Costs a lot of mana though.

I am going horde because I don't want to deal with orcs or shamans. I suggest not using regrowth vsing a shaman and probably even rejuv. That shaman played so poorly I don't know what to say about it... He should have purged the hell out of you and used grounding totem at least once...

I ranked up back in vanilla & the anti-hunter strat was the 4 piece pvp set bonus of +15% speed, as makes cat speed faster than cheetah. Still a hard fight, but it becomes an even matchup, rather than one sided aginst top hunters, as the speed lets you stay in melee far more often. Against warlocks, I needed the Naxx shadow resist off pieces. Aka, I had to cheese it with an out of combat gear swap to resist fear. Since cat form is so fast, you can break some of their fear casts by line of sight, others by shadow resist, often enough that you can out dps them.

Try killing pet for the hunter. Hunters all role beast masters first and some will decide to stay. A hunters pet can not be allowed to live in classic. The advantage is most hunter will always use wolf or cat. I think I’m the only one that uses a turtle for that armor. Granted a spell caster will have an easy time with the turtle, although that’s why pets can learn resists. Cats will have an advantage on mages, but the hunter will most likely just give you the snipes and send pet to only get the drop on you when it’s in and out of combat.

You want to have abolish poison ticking vs rogues you generally want to keep abolish poison up at all times and just let the rogue open on you in bear. I wouldn't suggest trying to open on him in cat cause if he opens on you your in cat and your really easy to do damage to. Please for the love of god use Abolish poison to preemptively remove blind once its cast. Restorative potion works as well. Also warlocks and hunters are a bit easier if you have engineering you kinda have to hibernate the hunters pet and try and reflect the freeze trap on the hunter himself. Also if your a warlock just use a felhunter vs a druid and don't leave your felhunters abilities on auto cast. Manually micro the abilities and silence/devour magic perfect times and its kinda hard to beat a good warlock. HOTW is one of the best talents in the entire game too. Anyways good video fam

I've seen this several times, a druid will remove the 'Enrage' debuff in bear form. This doesn't remove the armor reduction that has been placed on your gear for that spell. The armor reduction will remain for the full duration regardless.

Very cool perspective and unique ability for druids to play like any class. I'm considering druid as an alt or potentially new main and I'm curious about your view of druid PvE in dungeons and raids. I love hybrids but I've been realizing how much I don't like healing in PvE on my priest =/ might have to bite the bullet and find a hybrid I like to heal, a raid group that allows me to do gimp DPS/tank, or go a pure dps/tank role

Paladin is a another really hard matchup for druids. You probably won't win the mana battle against a holy paladin. All paladins can dispel your hots, and there is no engineering or natural holy resistance in the game, so their holy dmg will slice through bear armor like butter. Basically any class that can remove your hots is pretty tough, and you already talked about how hard hunters are to deal with. That is, unless you are engineering, and you time a frost reflector trinket just right. That might work in a duel, but it's going to be reallly hard to pull off in a battleground.

Jea but past BWL you need to be balance/resto spec´d to do that effectively. You need the spellpower at that point because they get more burst heavy and strait up win if you turtle. Early game you rek everything because ur base stats as a druid are insane.

Warlock was always his worst enemy and DK. And shaman, Any Class That Could heal and peal. Enchantment Shaman With Ghost wolfs Was From my xp.. Fastes killer of druid that needed time to peal off and kite... shaman had bast anti dmg and kite healing. He could do all bater.

VS Hunter you start invis and hibernate the pet. Then you moonkin his ass solo. He will run oom before you and you win. If he fears you and does good burst combos you can get fucked. However if you keep the pressure up you win 60/40 from my experience the matchup gets harder past BWL. Aimed shot only works when he cc´s you and you can heal that up easily. Outside of that he doesn´t have the dmg to kill you in bear from. If he is BM spec you have an even easier time (hibernate).

I remaber Dueling rogue did almost the same tac litle more complicated I used Cat and was bater inopenings but i learned in Bear like guide told For his sake.. Druid Will Perform In duels Bater and bater Untill you learn moves :Other clases do same thing mostly easy to reade and learn his stayle untill you start wining. Hi, great video. I just want to chip in as a long time mage player that rogues don't counter mages. Rogue-mage duels are very fun and skill-testing, and usually the better player wins. At equal skill level I'd say it's 50/50. The toughest duel for me is warlock, followed by probably shadow priest/ele shaman/druid.

Yeah HotW is mostly played in high Stamina/Int gear. Healing Gear with +Healing for PvE. High Armor/Stamina for WG

(there are so many useful applications for this) only prob is you will have to mix and match macros to match the combination of form you are currently in and form you want to be in then once the entangling roots grab a hold of the enemy *to use while in Bear Form /Cancelform /Use minor mana or health potion (optional) /Cast Travel form

I know a lot of people don't play shaman (it's always been "one of those classes") but purge is very costly -- you can't really afford to just toss it around. It has to be used selectively or it will OOM you, lol. Uses 10% of mana per cast...

From my personal experience, if a rogue can't down 2/3 of a druids health in his opening combo/stun-lock, it's over. You're fighting a healing bear!

Jaccare Souza false. Rogues will fail to bear form almost always. Especially with cooldowns. A heart of the wild Druid will bash you and come out to heal to almost full. Apply dots and abolish poison all with FF on you. You’re just not going to kill a decent Druid.

@Robertson Thirdly Cheap, into gouge, into kidney, into blind. repeat the process after blind but instead of prep blind, you evasion after the 2nd kidney and the druid is in deep trouble. I still believe rogues are favored, if not atleast 50/50. Druids are tough tho, but i'd say rogues are equally tough for druids, if played right.
