Crystal, it took *YOU* to help me make sense of the C2C stitch. It grew into a love/hate relationship. I loved the stitch 'cause once it made sense, I could whip something up without any prompting, B-U-T I grew to find it terribly annoying. I have trouble sticking with something if it becomes tedious to me & C2C doesn't allow the "oh, it's big enough, so I'll stop here" tactic. So I thought, "Oh, goody! Crystal's gonna teach us something magical!🙄😶😄I think I'll have this video on replay for LOTS more viewing.

I've been avoiding trying this stitch .... As always I've written down the instructions as you went along & I think I'm going to do this .... I'm a little apprehensive about the corners so I'm sure I will be re-watching this tutorial a few more times LOL .... I've been Crocheting for 50 plus years & I have so much trouble with using the back loops also but I'm going to try it again with this stitch. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you Crystal for this tutorial! I crochet blankets for Project Linus and this stitch in rectangular shape works up beautifully. It turns out well with light and medium weight yarn, great scrap buster, single color and just finished one using Mandala pastel variegated yarn. Such a simple stitch that look complicated. You are such an awesome, kind teacher! You give me the confidence that I really can do it!! And I did!! I’m on round 12 already!! 💕❤️🙏🏼 You’ve no idea Crystal, just how thankful I am. I hate to sound dramatic, but I am telling you…. it’s been years of me trying again and again and again to understand C2C blankets. They made no sense to me!! I really tried each time!! So I’m going through all your blanket videos as I’ve got 5,689 projects going for Christmas gifts atm 😂… I wanted something unique… and I remembered your C2C rectangle video!!! I went through my yarn stash and found 5 huge skeins of Caron Jumbo in the variegated Color Peacock…. It’s so beautiful and looks extra pretty with this stitch!! It looks very masculine but at the same time, elegant! I’m making this one for my husband for Christmas! He’s out of town for work until next Friday (it’s Sunday now) so I am going to power through and get as much done as possible the next 5 days!!! You have forever altered my attitude towards C2C patterns. I may never make another standard corner to corner blanket starting from the corner. This is perfect for when you are not sure if you have enough of one certain to make an entire blanket because it gives you the option of adding other colors and making it bigger.
