Yes, she has era’s ( I know right?) at 18 🤷🏻‍♀️, this 9-11 era she has this childlike abandon to try anything mixed with this double barrel voice that just freaking explodes out of her. The amazing combo of her age/stature/voice/songs of this era are unmatched and can only exist in that era. She will never be 10 again singing these songs so it is sort of magical to experience it. Angelina sang this when she was 10 years old. Baby Fuzz had sent the song to many other artists prior to his releasing it himself. Angelina didn't release it as a demo because her mother objected to some her age singing the last verse or two. The song somehow got released when she was 11 under circumstances still in question today.

You can’t release a demo because you don’t have any rights to the song. A demo is to generate interest to get an established artist to acquire the rights to the song and release it as an original! If Angelina had acquired the rights to this song, she could have changed any aspect of the song, including the lyrics, to suit herself before she released it as an original. This is what the confusion about this song is all about, Angelina was only asked to performed a demo, she never acquired the rights, so there was never any consideration to release the song herself, period!

That the term demo was used thus does not imply that she did not intend to release it herself initially. That she was asked to do it to demonstrate the song to other artists is rumour only.

@@most2dot0 Sorry, but you are wrong, and Baby Fuzz did record a demo himself for this song, but it didn’t generate any interest, so he released it as his own original, but he did have rights to the song because he wrote it, whereas Angelina never had any rights to the song, because she didn’t write it, and she never acquired the rights to the song, so she could not ever release the song herself, no matter what she, or her family, thought of the lyrics.

If you watch the documentary on her (before she won Norway got talent) you will see her grandmother, who is a painter and artist was Angelina’s inspiration. In the documentary they show Angelina going into a record store where is she digs through everything to do with jazz, puts on headphones and is clearly learning so much! she was only five years old then.

"Yes. she is!" 🙂 After all the repetitive lines she comes up with that 'crash volley of notes' and our jaws fall to the floor. The point you raised about just listening to her is not crazy at all. Her voice is that of a miniature orchestra and when someone listens to her with their eyes closed they get a very personal feeling of what she's doing and it's literally off the charts. Lastly, her body of work includes music videos made from when she was 1 and 1/2 years old to today (18 years old). I raise the point because even though we acknowledge that today she is already one of the finest singers in the world, people will always revert back to when she was younger to listen to her sing some of their favorite video's. I mean, who has a library of music to choose from like that????? Example: You just listened to Angelina sing a new song and it was fabulous! You meet someone who only just discovered her and they tell you they loved the song, as well. Then, you come out with the following line: "Yes, she's wonderful. What you need to do is listen to her sing 'What A Difference A Day Makes' when she was 8 years old. You'll really enjoy it." The person listening to you is wondering, "What in the world is he talking about?" BUT, he looks at your face and can feel you really mean it. So, he shyly answers you with, "Okay." He or she walks away and forgets about it. Then, a moment comes when he is reminded of that conversation with you. So, he plays the video. I believe I don't have to go any further, do I? Actually she was still 10yo - Angelina recorded this demo on January 3, 2017 which was 7 days before her 11th birthday. The visuals are fan made due to the lack of original footage. A couple of things for you to watch are the behind the scenes videos. First, when she was 10 she did Back to Black, but there is the rehearsal video of the photographers making the video while she is singing and she is completely unfazed. A second one is the Fly Me to the Moon for Quincy Jones 85th birthday concert. There are two videos, one is doctored for better sound, but there is a longer version where she is discussing how the song will be done. I love watching her professionalism at 10 and 12. Many Angelina fans have stated this is the most impressive 'adult like' presentation she has ever accomplished. Direct, inventive elements attributed to Billie Holiday are incorporated by Angelina here, and especially the 'breathy' releases and low register singing she applies to the song. Had this been formally released, it would have zoomed up the charts. It has never been explained by her mom with regard to it's non-release, for in addition to Angelina's young age at the time of the recording, there was a mention about self inflicted 'suicidal' drowning lyrics that leads me to believe that this alone could have had Sara not pursue its release. .

This is one of those videos that unless a reactor is led to it or given the link, they wouldn’t know it existed. When a reactor is new to Angelina some fans will tell them bout fhe several “hundreds” of videos she has on KZbin. The number varies and some exaggerate the number. I’ve seen one say as high as 1000! Anyway, most fans don’t let the reactor know that the videos are on a multitude of different channels. If the reactor checks just her two KZbin channels they will find less than 100 and many videos are duplicates or several versions of the same song. It’s important for fans to provide links to hard to find videos like this.

That's a good hint, and there's often a lack of clarity in the definition of the 250+ different songs and the 850+ different performance videos (I think with Las Vegas and Glendale we could easily get close to 1,000 - and it depends also if you count TikToks or not). 🤗😂, yeah she can be 10. That's the age she kinda took that exact step, where she could pass as an adult in talent, choices, and voice. It's just hints of youth in her voice, they changed from kid, to teen around this time. A lot of stuff from that age shows a large skillset. Even just this and "Feeling good" alone are a ridiculous show of where she was at at 10. The iconic "I Put A Spell On You" at nine, bet it was real hard for her in studio, to get it that good. At 10, would've been easy peasy, and a real growth in maturity for her voice. 8-9 seems huge to me, but, still a kid, 9-10 seems just as big and not a kid singer no more,🤷‍♂, I say about a 10 year old. She was ready for Bohemian rhapsody really after that, just 3 years of honing everything, steady growth and maturing. Somewhere around 14 she seemed to have another big leap in voice and skills, depth, style. Where impossible, grown vocal onslaughts like "All I ask" were now possible. I like her more than ever, but 9, 10 and 14 are my favorite ages of her for those exact ways of just,🤷‍♂️, wonder. To be an interesting artist with such talent by 9 is wild. To be that and pass as an adult at 10 is wild, and to be an elite, versatile adult singer at 14 is wild. Impossible. Who knows how steady the growth is and what we're privy too. Or how I see these things may differ. But I love these benchmark years of hers, in my mind. The heights of impossibility, wonder. She's saved more than a few hearts being that great.

It seems that she start to explore other genres. How can a 10 year-old perform "Back to Black","Summertime" with KORK, 2X live "Feeling Good", "Sing Me to Sleep" and "Faded" in Alan Walker's concert , "Every Time We Say Goodbye" on TV....., and this amazing recording. Looking forward to seeing the next one.

It's understandable that it can leave one speechless, genuinely emotionally spent. The heartfelt emotions shared and then the image of her, our barefoot princess, holding it down....is shocking. It is truly a masterpiece of delivery at 10 years old. A highly complementary synergy of lyrics and vocals.

Can you imagine what they might be holding onto that will never see the light of day? The mind reels… I guess you haven't heard her version of "I Will Survive" yet. It's another audio-only with "slideshow" visuals - except this time the video was posted to her family's "Angelina Jordan Fanclub Mosarz" channel. The exact title: "Angelina Jordan singing I will survive (2016)" If that year is right, she's 10 again. This one's particularly interesting because it sounds like a first and perhaps only take, sung while she's reading the lyrics (it sounds like that to me, anyway). For whatever reason, she appears to have never sung the song again. Although slightly flawed, it is _insanely_ good for a 10-year-old. Or in other words, classic Angelina.

there are a lot of rumors. Actually, it's her song because she sang it first, but only as a demo. I think it's quite simple, the song would have gone through the roof, and for her 10 years on this song and how protected she is by her family, it would have been too early with the hype that followed, and as has already been mentioned, without a record deal it would have been difficult to release this song and only others would have benefited from it. but that's just a guess on my part

Many fans say that if this song was released it would have been her 1st #1 hit. Very difficult to say. Yes it’s an incredible performance but it would have probably been the same issue as she has now, getting heard. How would the song be promoted? How would it get out there? Would it have been a hit? Maybe. Number 1? No way to know considering how difficult it is for any new artist to break out, especially in the U.S.

Also at ten her rooftop version of Everytime We Say Goodbye, is another Hallmark song and she stands right next to Ella on it. She can sing so intentionally and sculpt each note into everything it needs to be for each song. Truly incredible. At frickin 10.

She was asked to do a demo of this song. Baby Fuzz hadn’t even released it yet, so in actuality, he covered her demo! The story is that her mom wouldn’t let it be released because of the inference to suicide at the end. After it was leaked, it was allowed on You Tube but still not released by Angelina. Apparently she will never sing it again. Would love to see what she would do with it today. Why couldn’t she do her “change the lyrics” magic on this one? Knew you would love it!

We are fairly confident the interpretation of the lyrics, dealing with suicide, had nothing to do with why this incredible demo was not officially released. We don't know the facts and hope when Sara releases her book about Angelina's journey, she tells us the story.

this was put out to the industry by Baby Fuzz for demos Angelina was given it but she never released it. Baby Fuzz released his version after this was released on to the internet Its said that her mother did not like Angelina to sing the song because she thought the song related to suicide, but I personally think they were protecting her as if this was released it would have been a number one

patrick Angelina wasn't given it to release. She was asked to do the demo, which got shopped around, but wasn't picked up. That's why Baby Fuzz released his own rendition. The suicide gossip got replaced by the baptism reference, but no one doubts it would have been a hit.

Angelina’s mom wouldn’t or didn’t want this song released. I know Angeluna was asked to do a demo of the song, but a different version was selected. Many of us Angels couldn't believe how great this song sounded! She’s special that’s for sure! 💛

This rumor has been debunked ever since I’ve been following Angelina in 2017. Every time a new batch of Ångels discovers Angelina, is seems like this story gets dusted off and is given new life. Maybe Angelina’s mother Sara will shed some light as to this beautiful song’s origins when her long-anticipated book of Angelina’s journey is finally published. 🫶😉

The very first song Angelina did on TV, «Gloomy Sunday», is pretty much suicidal, and there are such references in other songs too. That cannot be the reason it wasn’t released by or with her. All business, I assume.
