The guys in the balcony with the rainbow ribbons on are the surviving members of Led Zepplin. John Bonham, their drummer who has passed, was represented by the dude on drums, his son.

The ladies are Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart. Check out Magic Man, Crazy on You and Barracuda. Heart was the first major female led rock band of the 70’s. Ann was 62, (singer) and Nancy was 60ish. Jason Bonham, son of the late John Bonham, played drums for his Dad. The guy in the balcony were John Paul Jones, bass player, Robert Plant, vocals and Jimmy Paige, lead guitar of Led Zeppelin. They were one of several artists being honored at Kennedy Center Honors 2012. Several artists are honored each year for their contributions to the arts. The sitting President always attends. It’s a big deal.
