I'm sure you know by now, but for those that haven't gotten so far into BTS yet, Spring Day lyrics are talking about the pain of the loss of a loved one and is a memorial to a tragic Ferry accident in Korea where almost 300 young kids drowned while heading to a island for a field trip. It's honoring all the parents, siblings, families and the country suffering the pain of such a loss. The video is heartbreaking , until you realize you are not alone, you have a whole nation grieving with you and standing with you. I hope my explanation does it justice.

Oh I understand, "SERENDIPITY" a solo song by jimin got me down the bts rabbit hole back in 2017. It was trending on KZbin in my country and I clicked on it just randomly. I was so mesmerised by his voice never heard anything like it before. I found 7 amazing artists who helped me through so much because of that so I'll forever be thankful to jimin and that song 💜 BTW you're doing amazing with remembering members faces, don't let anybody tell you otherwise 😂💜

J-Hope is called the Golden Hyung because he is so good at everything he does. He is a great rapper, he's awesome at melodic rapping but he can also go hard, and he is a good vocalist. His part as a vocalist is sub-vocals, and he can go high, but not like Jin. Jin is an amazing vocalist and has worked very hard to be as good as he is. J-Hope is also considered the dance leader/coach. He is in charge of making sure the guys know the choreography and he is in charge of their live stages. So, he learns the choreo from their choreographer - Son Sung-deuk - because he is so good at it and learns in minutes what it takes others hours to learn. He also adds his own choreo, as well as Jimin. J-Hope and Jimin are considered the main dancers. JK and V are considered lead dancers. They make up the dance line (J Hope, Jimin, JK, V). Jimin's solos - Serendipity has an mv for the song (albeit the shorter version) which introduces the Love Yourself series ^^ It has a really cool live performance, but make sure you do the stage mix if you react to it to avoid copyright Other solos are Lie, Filter, Promise and Christmas Love, but he has done a few subunit songs - Friends with V, Tony Montana perf with Suga, cover of We don't talk anymore with JK, etc. Unfortunately, he has only 5 solo tracks, the least out of all the members. He is also well requested out of bts, but seems not to be very interested as he hasn't done almost any collabs (unlike some of the other members). However, he definitely stands out in some group tracks, and we love that for him haha - particularly Home, Love Maze, Louder than Bombs, Blood Sweat and Tears (which you've seen) and many others! P.S. Jimin does a lot of special dance performances though! Modern, popping, crumping, you name it

I love watching your reactions to them all but especially Jimin 😂 that Jimin effect creeping his way into your heart for real real! Spring Day is a very monumental song for BTS and ARMY (especially Korean ARMY). Jin has also said in the past that his friends ask him when BTS is going to make another song like Spring Day. It’s a favourite. Make sure to take the advice of other comments of watching the ferry tragedy videos too. Save Me is one of my fave BTS songs and I love the MV as it’s shot all in one shot. The behind the scenes for the making for that MV is so funny to watch them running around like crazy behind the cameraman to get into their shot on time. It was raining like crazy while they were rehearsing it and then they had to shoot as many takes as they could as quickly as possible because the rain could start again at any time. Also, if someone made a mistake at any point they had to stop and shoot again from the start because it’s all one shot! So much work for them. I’ll be watching for your PTD reaction!

I used to always mix up Jimin and Yoongi and sometimes Jungkook and Jin. I was always trying to find Jimin because, yeah he snatched me in Black Swan but the hair colors always threw me off. So did the bangs vs forehead style switches from one song to another. BTS was my first Kpop group, I didn't know about the hair color rule yet. 😀 I really recommend you react to some BTS behind content to learn their personalities. Trust me, it will really help! After 9 months, I can tell who is who from the back and how they walk. It's scary how that sneaks up on you too. One day you can't tell them apart, the next you see Jungkook from the back and find yourself thinking 'Hmm that look's like JK's butt.' And I'm not someone who normally pays attention to things like that so....🤣

All Jimin’s solo songs are great, certainly react to them but the dancing is a must see for him. Watch stage mixes or live versions for his solos songs!! Also, please react to Love Yourself: the final in Seoul (love yourself answer song) live with subtitles. The message is amazing. Also Friends is a song by Jimin and V and it’s amazing, Film Out also has jaw dropping vocals from Jimin!!! He also has released songs like Promise that doesn’t have a video or performance but it’s my favorite.

@@ToneyReactions he first watched it with subtitles and then without subtitles and he just got it( IQ148 at work😂😂) Namjoon is considered an intellectual when it comes to language because he spends a lot of time thinking about how he can properly word his thoughts and feelings. also it’s not entirely from friends they do get English lessons in Korean high schools so I’m sure that helped but if you’ve noticed he has an American accent when he speaks and that definitely comes from the show.

I’m going to tell you Spring Day is about one of the horrific heartbreaking moments in modern day Korea. It is hard to get everything out of the mv because their is so much. “…some o’ y’all been on my - uh -- on my back…” LOL I clapped, I clapped! You really did great on the naming. The one trick you need to add to your memorization is that Jin is vocal-line and j-hope is rap-line, though yes, he does sing in Spring Day and others (and btw JK raps in their early work). Back to Jin - yes he is the oldest, though in looks (and often behavior) he fits right in with the youngest three - which is good because those four are the vocal-line. Though he was a younger brother in his family of origin, Jin has taken his role of “hyung” (older brother of boys) seriously and done his best to behave responsibly as a role-model. However, his motto in life is to work hard but never forget to enjoy life, and -- along with his choice not to burden others with his problems, and let’s not forget his never-ending dad jokes -- this fun-loving approach can make him seem immature at times. Thus, he is called the “magnae” - a play on the term “maknae” which means the youngest/newest of a group, this basically means “the eldest who acts like he’s the youngest.” RM is actually right in the middle age-wise but is often mistaken for being eldest. Age is a huge matter of respect in the Korean culture, so the names are usually listed eldest to youngest, except that in this case RM is often listed first as the leader. The three older members honor him by respecting his role, though each has admitted they do so because they have no desire to hold that position themselves (lol). To round all this out, JK is the youngest of the group (the true maknae) but took on the huge responsibility of being the main singer, and initially a rapper as well. I’m not minimizing the contributions of any of the other members - just trying not to write a full essay here! In the end, the incredible balance of responsibility and respect within all seven members of this group is as much the cause of their success as is their amazing talent and dedication. (Note: these are “facts” I’ve picked up along the way, I am by no means an expert on Korean culture.) Can’t wait to see your individual analyses of these songs - though it was fun to watch you try not to get sucked in to a lyric breakdown here. By the way, if JK is your bias then I’d say Jimin is your bias-wrecker… but then where does RM fit in? ( :

However, since my mom is SUGA biased I can use this as an excuse to research him more, and I have to research RM just because he's the leader and as the first member of the group is the one most bio's start out describing, and Jimin... well, I have no excuse! So, yeah, I claim no bias but Jimin is definitely my bias-wrecker. lol Truly I have the utmost respect and admiration for each and every one. I've heard there is a word or phrase in Korean that means basically "revolving door" and many K-ARMY use this to describe how their bias is ever-changing amongst the multi-talented group. Imma have to learn that word!

Awww but you were SO CLOSE!! Good job, you will get them all right soon. Just remember 3 rapers (RM, Suga and Jhope) and 4 vocalists (Jin, Jimin, V and JK). A little extra info to help you remember each of them and in fanchant order: You have the “hyungs” (oldest members) RM - the leader of BTS, main raper. Writes and produces a lot of the songs. Only one fluent in English and literally a genius with an IQ of 148. Jin- the oldest, vocalist and visual. You can spot him right away because he has the widest shoulders of them all and his spectacular confidence. Suga- lead raper and always calm and unbothered. Jhope: main dancer (the best) and lead raper, always smiles (he’s our sunshine). Look at him closed up and notice his face features: amazing high cheekbones and perfect nose. That will help you. Then you have the “maknaes” (younger members) Jimin: vocalist and main dancer too (trained in classic dance as well). He cares so much for all the members and he has the cutest small hands. V: vocalist (deep soulful baritone voice) and visual. Also in the dance line. Has won the most handsome man alive a few times. His boxy smile is unique. JK (Jungkook) is the “Golden Maknae” because is good at everything. Main vocalist and center of the group, lead dancer. He is the youngest. And he can rap as well. wait im not sure if you know about this im like 8 mins in so far 😭 but bts have colored mics for each member that they updated last year, it's help new armys identify them: "For the new mics; RM has 2 mics Silver & Black with rainbow crystals from his Blue one, Jin’s is White with 3 tiny pink butterflies from his Pink one, Suga’s remains Black, J-Hope’s remains Red, Jimin’s is Orange from his Gold one, V’s is Green with no crystals and Jungkook’s is purple with rainbow crystals from his Pure Purple one."

They just changed mics this year again though. The olds ones are in HYBE museum. I was pretty sure mic wise V now has a matte gray one, Jimin's is a pale crystal lavender, RM is using crystal silver, JK metallic purple, Jin's crystal grass green, Yoongi plain silver, and I believe Hobi's is a pale crystal mint green. Going off Muster and Festa performances. Not sure if they are keeping these long term, but this is what they have been performing with lately.

by the way ! what's so amazing about "Save Me" to me is that if you take the bridge from save me and the second verse of their song "I'm Fine" which are connected, the lyrics are continued across the songs. it's hard explain with words lmao but there's actually a chart depicting this you can probably find 😩 basically the first lyric of save me's bridge is the opposite of the last lyric of im fine's verse, and the second lyric of save me's bridge is the opposite of the second to last lyric of im fine's verse and so on, it's just really fascinating to me is all 😭
