❤❤❤Really pretty outcome! I love how you use glue instead of sewing. Sewing CAN be tedious. Gluing makes these styles accessible to the masses.

If I ever make another one I would do one panel at time. I think that would be easier. Thanks for watching, XO Gina 💕💕💕

I really love these jackets. I'm working on my 3rd one! However, I don't have a dress form, and 3fibd it easier to remove and replace one panel at a time. If the fabric is not washable, you won't get the frayed look. But it is just a lot easier for me to manage when the "frame" is more stable.

@@anitanorris3155 hi Anita, yes, I found out the hard way that it’s so much easier to do one panel at a time. I’m looking forward to doing another one but this time definitely doing one panel at a time. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the advice. I always appreciate it. Thanks for watching, XO Gina.💕💕💕

Cute iacket. Thanks for the video. You could use wider panels in the sleeves to make them looser. I find that denim jacket sleeves can be constricting so i might do that.
@ginalouisedesigns88262 ай бұрын
@@kristinjacobsen3417 Hi Kristin! That’s a great idea! Yes I have noticed the sleeves can be a little on the tight side. Thanks for your sweet comment, the tip and thanks for watching! XO Gina 💕💕💕

Great job! How well has the glue lasted after wearing and washing? Thanks!
@ginalouisedesigns88266 ай бұрын
Hi Theresa, @theresacarter1033 I’ve used this glue on many projects and it holds up amazing. This jacket has not been washed yet. I only spot clean it but what I normally do is I take a pillowcase and I put the garment inside the pillowcase and I tie a knot at the opened end of the pillowcase, and I throw it in the washing machine on gentle, so that it doesn’t get destroyed. Thank you for your sweet comment and thank you so much for watching XO Gina.

You know I've been watching Creator's do this to these blue jeans jackets thinking. Wonder what it would like like with a solid fabric underneath the see through material on top instead of cutting out all the parts of the jacket! Anyone done that?

Can you just sew it in?
@ginalouisedesigns88269 ай бұрын
@sandrasimmons5504 Yes of course but most people don’t know how to sew. So this DIY can be done with Fabri- tac glue.
@jennetthamilton9717 ай бұрын
As an experienced seamstress, I think I would sew all the lace onto the inside of the jacket, then carefully cut the denim panels out and do the fraying. What a great looking jacket!
