It's a fantastic song and Tony wrenches so much emotion out of his solo.

U can feel longing, desperation and loneliness pouring out of Tony's last solo. Truly incredible stuff.

Wonderful job! Alanna, the shirt looks awesome! :) Tony Martin was criminally underrated. A great singer. Any music written by Iommi is great.

That's what I grew up with: Deep Purple and Black Sabbath. That was my introduction to heavy music. I still hear them today. Dio is one of the greatest singers of all time for me.

Vinny Appice actually started mid tour when Bill Ward suddenly left, Vinny got just a few days to prepare.I love Vinny, he is my favourite drummer.

Haven’t heard this in ages. Next you’ll have to react to “Over and Over” from “The Mob Rules”. They repeated the formula, but it’s just as good a song and fantastic played back to back.

Besides Dio replacing Ozzy they also added the keyboardplayer Geoff Nicholls that you heard here in the ending of the song, he was with the band for about 20 years when DIo and Tony Martin were the singers.

This is one of the best classic metal albums! I was a big Black Sabbath fan back in the day, but I gotta say when they split with Ozzy, I thought Ozzy solo and Sabbath with Dio were both next level - they took music in new directions. If you like to check out any new music, you should listen to "In Stitches" by Category 7. They are a new project with guys from various metal bands.

Sabbath fan since 71. Heaven and hell lineup was original save for Dio. Mob rules following year original founding members Iommi, Butler, then Dio, and new drummer Vinny Appice. Check out Mob Rules, I know it's sacrilege to say it, but as a long time Sabbath fan, I think this is better than Heaven and Hell. Then check out every album right up to 13 from 2023. Gillan , Hughes, Martin on vocals. Blistering stuff.

Great song! Thanks for the reaction! Big SABBATH/DIO fan! If you have a chance check out SABBATH NIGHTS featuring Melody Cristea of LILIAC singing with them!! Also check out the Cincinnati vampires featuring Melody Cristea singing STARGAZER (Dio/Rainbow) you wont be disappointed at all! Have a great day!!!

Musically this is my favourite Sabbath album, though I do miss Geezer's more uniquely social lyrics. (That's not a complaint, just an observation.)

Correct Tony is left handed like me. He lost parts of his fingers on his right hand. Which his fretboard hand. Greats are lefty I.E Jimi Hendrix.
