I feel like part of the problem is that newspapers have lost what used to be an important page - the difference between news and editorials. It seems that in most cases, the whole paper (or the whole show in the case of TV news) has become the editorial page. And many people just can't tell the difference

I would also like to see politicians debate in the forensic style where they have to demonstrate knowledge of the facts in their arguments.
