COD4 in 2007 was without a doubt one of the greatest times I've ever had with any video game. It was the game that got me away from Halo and Gears, so many nights of playing with friends, stomping pubs and having a blast. While WaW and Mw2 was good, it wasn't as good as COD4 IMO. And after that, COD started going down hill, with the last good COD imo being BO2. Activision destroyed Call of Duty, it's very sad but for the majority of old school COD players, COD is gone, and the glory days of COD will not come back. MWR was solid, but it's just not the same. The majority of older players have moved on to other games. BF is good because they stay true to their games. Dark Souls is amazing ( though a lot of little shits are starting to jump on the wagon) and plenty of other great games that have killed COD for us. Fuck Activison.

Leonardo Pavón I like cod yes. It is fun for me and simple to play and pass the time with. I played the original and it was one of my first video game after browser games. I can see why you guys hate them for adding micro transactions and changing or adding stuff that weren't there. however if you think about it you do not need to pay money to unlock the original contents and the added weapons, camos etc are entirely optional. it does not affect game play at all. Unless you get ticked off by seeing it in a kill cam or something. plus adding new weapons from modern Era and other cod makes this game longer lasting. Why always look at the negative side? It certainly suck to be buried with supply drops and shit but if you ignore it and not buy them then it will show more than bashing them.

The only reason why the supply drops are here to stay is due to all the dumb kids who want to spend money, usually from their dumber parents after crying their asses off because they do not want to spend their precious time into playing the game and they figured out and got hooked into Activision's little ploy of a "pay-to-win" paid game system. It is going to be in every COD title until people finally realize how much of a waste of money this system is. I never had a need to spend money on supply drops at all since you can eventually get the weapons for free by just PLAYING THE GAME. But again... people want a shortcut and we are dumb enough to spend our money on it. Then they realize the mistake they made when they can not use their weapons with their well spent money because they never take the time to play the game at a skilled level over time.

Not only do they add more common emblems to stop players getting more duplicate allowing a profit in parts/salvage, but they also do it so that it waters down the supply drop content so you can't get any of the new weapons or stuff required to get the weapons.

Ryan Seabury ive gotten everything i have from commons. i have 30 collection out of 64 done. id have to disagree because there a lot of times where i get 2 or 3 epics out of commons and you get more parts because youll get WAY more duplicates

I have no where near as much progress as I did in BO3 at this time last year but I would have to agree with doing commons this time around - rares take WAY too LONG to get and I have also gotten some commons with 2 Epics or Legendaries. Plus 9 items instead of 3 gives you more chance of duplicates (which I wanted to avoid in BO3) is your only guaranteed way at getting at least some of them. Back then, there were no guarantees that you would ever get a weapon so in theory this is the best way. The only guarantees were you WILL GET BORED OF THE GAME, and YOU WILL NOT GET EVERYTHING. Buy commons unless you think you're lucky and can get a weapon directly from a rare I wish they would at least disable duplicate items and just sell commons.

Totally agree with you. This is just scandalous. Haven't bought IW out of principle, although i would have loved to play MWR. I think this shady, deceitfull way of doing business will be the true downfall of the franchise. And this is not coming from a hater. I love COD and it hurts me to see Activision ruining it !

One way to make supply drops okay... 1. Take out any earnable or buyable credits to open up supply drops. 2. Each time you level up, you get a supply drop. 3. Remove advanced/ rare supply drops 4. Have a weekly game mode playlist, when you win you get a supply drop. 5. Make it were you can buy a fixed amount of supply drops example:( 5$ for 4 supply drops etc....) 6. As it goes for ranged weapons, have them be included in map packs or season pass, and keep them in supply drops so it gives the people that don't have map packs a chance to get them for free.

So these weapons can't be obtained through game play or money by any reasonable amounts. That's what I hate the most about these supply drops because it's not like its content i can obtain by spending $5, no it's content that i can spend $5000 trying to get and I MIGHT get the content, when after I've spent over $2 I've already overpaid. I don't even play MWR but the fact that these anti-consumer business practices are being supported by idiots and young, gullible consumers infuriates me. And not only that but these supply drops are now becoming mainstream in gaming. We need consumers to realize that we are the ones that have the power here not Activision. Activision needs us for our money. If they serve you shit time and time again and you complain but always pay for it anyways then what is their incentive to not serve you shit?

Gatlin actually it is easily obtainable through playing the game... maybe not for someone who plays exclusively on the weekends for 3hours. but as someone who almost always plays 2-3hours a day you should have enough salvage saved to buy atleast 2 weapons.
