Meanwhile at 40, I am considered too old by a 33 year old girl. Yes, this is India, the outlook cannot be expected to be broad. But what really baffles me is how some girls of that age marry men who are 30+ years older than them. These men are usually either a celebrity, wealthy businessmen or government employees. Perhaps women seek men who are not in the rush to earn their living anymore, once they have secured sufficient wealth at an advanced age. So they are very calm and relaxed with their spouses.

Unfortunately, due to the conventions, women are forever playing the desirable one and never expressing a desire for men for quite sometime. The only girls who showed interest in me were desperate girls with health issues. And even though just few attempts, whenever I approached other women I have been rejected, brotherzoned, and shamed for doing it. Perhaps I got carried away with idealism. I should have followed the patriarchal system by becoming successful in acquiring a government job and being the sought after groom for a wealthy father in law who could buy me for his daughter. Damn, I missed that. Anyways, let's be happy for these women if they are doing fine. Open your eyes, at what age gap is this deception going to be unacceptable. The age gap keeps growing. No young person naturally is attracted to an old gray wrinkle person. Either they want or need something from them, an insecurity of any type, Or they are groomed. Surety, a psychological imbalance on either one or both of the individuals involved. The maturity level of the older individual is no match, the same way the strength of a younger person compared to the elderly as well. An age gap of more than 10 years for ages 20 and above is not a healthy relation.
