Not just that - what I find especially fascinating is that Alexander was the final avatar of Ammit. It also means that the untimely death of Alexander and the imprisonment of Ammit must have happened at the same time. I cannot wait to see the explanation of how it all went down.

they seriously overhyped the ending when they first saw it. Made it seem like there was gonna be a huge character introduced or something. but its just the fake asylum stuff from the comics. which would be seriously boring in the show so they made sure to let the audience know that everything they had been watching did actually happen.

Imagine in Ep 5 it turns out that Harrow was actually tricked into thinking he's following Ammit, while he was really doing the dirty work for Seth. Which would explain why Harrow is able to summon Jackals - because Seth was one. It would also explain why the other Gods saw Harrow "not guilty" of trying to release Ammit. It would align itself with the Comics - where it was Seth, instead of Ammit, who Marc's Opponent was trying to release. Ammit in that Storyline served a different purpose.

Such a great episode. That hippo at the end was Taweret, Egyptian goddess of child-rearing and reproduction. She has the power of rejuvenation in mythology. She's also believed to have the power to bring people back from the dead. She purifies souls before they move on into the afterlife. I think she's going to resurrect Marc/Steven and maybe help them find Konshu. The mental institute scene may have been caused by Taweret's intervention. I can't wait until next week!

So… the afterlife (all-white) is a … sanitarium, where the Psychologist is his mortal adversary? Man oh man is this a brilliant episode!

This episode was interesting. Layla fighting the zombie thing was brutal, and awesome! I love watching Marc and Steven's relationship grow. My theory for the last scene is that the third alter possibly took control of the body after Marc got shot, then trapped Marc and Steven in the body's mind-space or something. The other patients and Harrow could be pulled from Marc and Steven's subconscious. I'm probably completely wrong, but it's fun to theorise anyway. Thanks for the reaction!

Oh, yeah, btw. Lazarus Pools in Egypt have the weirdest side effects. The Othervoid is awesome. Also, the fact that the last scene was in the headspace, and the headspace is still a mental institution, like the othervoid, says alot about the Moon Knight System's self loathing.

OK so remember the panther god in black panther bast is based on the Egyptian god and we’ve had mentioned to this connects the black panther in that way. Bast is based on real life mythology Bastet. Bastet was given the heart of ra. Funny enough wakanda had a heart shaped herb. Marc is Khonshu avatar so in a way since the black panther got his power from bast is he like her avatar. The asgardians are gods and we have seen a transfer of power from thor to steve Rogers however it be by a Thor’s hammer. THat brings me to relics of dr strange where they use weapons of higher beings to channel energy and power. Also a lot of this is based on Egyptian mythology which is In Africa another obvious connection to panther. Bastet is a direct child of ra and also his protector.

My theory Shu told Striven tell mark to free me in episode 3. Shu told Mark you know I will do anything to keep you safe in episode 2 . I think that's the backup plan that allows Shu to save Mark and in the same time free Shu.

I have very strange feeling about acting of Oscar and May. When watching actors that plays couple in show/movie you can tell if there's good chemistry between actors. I'm not an actor, but I don't think that you can play/act good chemistry - it's something natural. And chemistry between Oscar and May is strange, because it's changing depending on which personality Oscar plays. When leading personality is Marc - I can't feel/see this chemistry between actors, but when Oscar plays Steven - it changes that much that I could believe that Oscar and May are couple in real life, like very very loving and bonded couple with great relationship. And like I said at beginning - I don't think real chemistry can be played. It looks like Oscar have two personalities in real life and May feels good only with one of them. But maybe it's only my imagination.

I think they're both just really good actors lol. Layla is pissed off with Marc, feels she can't trust him anymore etc. So that's why she's acting cold towards him. With Steven, he's physically the man she once loved and is attracted to but now he has this sweet and kind personally she feels she can trust and has a lot in common with, so naturally they have that chemistry between them.
