So to answer your question about the guardians of the globe thing, in the comics Nolan actually killed all the guardians before they even know what was happening. The theory is either the show version is weaker, or he let himself be injured so it looked less suspicious

Actually the scream shouldn't have even worked because it required a specific frequency and there's no way Homelander just screamed at that frequency because otherwise they wouldn't be able so fight or fly because of loud explosions and sonic booms from flying.

the people that act like this being onesided is a problem were already really funny, but even more so once I remembered that this isn't even the most onesided episode this season, let alone in the show. Omni-Man was billions of times faster and stronger, while Thor was quadrillions of times faster and literally infinitely stronger in their respective episodes. Both results are also equally correct. The battle also wasn't any shorter than usual, (which is frankly a miracle considering how much more work it takes to make a handdrawn episode than a 2d or 3d one) it's the same length as a standard DB. The fact that they actually spent time fleshing out the scenario as part of the animation first is my best guess to why it might've felt short despite it not being so, but like, that's always better than the alternative. And besides, if you wanna get more interpretative, Homelander proobably knew that was his best shot at winning, ending the fight before it began. The DB team have said this publically themselves.

23:40 Omni man Vs the Guardians of the Globe is very different in the Comics he takes no damage and it lasts 4 panels thats it.....if you wanna see it its Chapter Seven of the old comics and this is a description the heroes are all called to the hideout then this happens 1 panel is the guardian's all questioning who called them the next page is 5 panels in the 1st red Rush and Aquafishman have their heads smashed together then in the 2nd Green ghost is beheaded 3rd War Women has her Neck Snapped 4th Martian guy has his guts pulled out and 5th Batman gets a similar treatment its literally a 2 second affair and none of them had time to even react 3rd page is the Immortal screaming Who are you sow yourself and then his head is taken off and the last one is Nolan standing there covered in blood but hes not bleeding or bruised or hurt at all he isnt even out of breath

If they are going to use that Akira character, there is no reason that they can't do Ranma Saotome vs Inuyasha, which has been requested since season 1. Heck, there is no excuse for not using an Inuyasha character at all after all this time.

Having seen both of those anime (though not all the way) I have thought of this idea myself. Personally I think it'd be funny if they gave the phrase "lover's quarrel" a whole new meaning by having it be Inuyasha and Kagome vs. Ranma and Akane, but just Inuyasha and Ranma works too. I enjoyed what I saw of both shows, so I do like the idea. But doesn't Inuyasha's Wind Scar literally end the fight in one swing of his sword? I know Death Battle has made good episodes out of match-ups that are stomps before but that one does seem like a bit much.

@@psb123x Wouldn't be the first time he won fights that he should have lost. Ranmas whole thing is he doesn't lose when it counts. Heck, at the end of the manga he kills Saffron, who should not have been able to die, considering he can rapidly regenerate limbs and tissue in seconds. Except by that point, Ranma had become so powerful, he was able to overtax Saffrons regenerative abilities and end him. Yep, the first time Ranma ever took a life. Akane had been turned into a doll and time was running out to save her but Saffron was standing in his way. The gloves came off.

Green Lantern? Superman? Goku? The Flash? Batman? Hulk? Static Shock? Death Battle picks and chooses when to and when not to composite a character, it’s one of the things that makes their fights so inconsistent in terms of research. I love Vegeta, and he deserves to lose that fight. However, Death Battle has been proven to have spotty research in the past.

@@Greevheattak Green Lantern vs Ben 10 was accurate. Lantern would stomp that little brat any day. Fight me. Superman vs Superman never happened. If you're talking Superman vs Goku, then Superman winning is accurate. Just because he has far better feats than Goku has. Thor vs Vegeta, as I said, was neither composited nor biased. In fact, they took the lowest possible estimate for Thor and he still won.

@@goldenaries0860 Green Lantern was never composited. In fact, the comics confirm that the Pre-Crisis and Post-Crisis versions of the character are literally the same guy. Those feats that he performed in Pre-Crisis are what gave him the victory. What about Superman and Goku? Death Battle said that they weren't using Superman from pre-crisis and they didn't. Plus, Superman's got feats that far outclass even Ultra Instinct Goku. I don't know enough about the Flash but I do know that Barry survived Crisis of Infinite Earths, so he already scales to multiversal levels of power, and Wally's stronger than him. He's also defeated Black Racer, the avatar of Death, which gave him the victory. In Hulk's case, Marvel has literally never done a hard reboot like DC, so all those feats come from the same Hulk. Again, not composite. Don't know enough about Static.

@@WebbedManiac Lantern has had multiple writers both before and after the Crisis on Infinite Earth’s event, thus when I mean “composite” Im referring to feats that combine multiple authors version of the character. The original Crisis on Infinite Earth’s event was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez. From 1926-2000, Green Lantern Hal Jordan has had over 25 different writers, which themselves to not coordinate character lore beyond the basics to allow for self contained stories for Hal. Gil Kane, John Broome, Patrick Gleason etc. just to name a few. This is how we combine feats for multiple eras, despite writing inconsistencies between characters. For Hal, if would be his weakness to yellow eventually being retconned to be a weakness to fear from his good old silver age self. Oh, I agree with the outcome of Superman Vs Goku. Perhaps it it was New 52 Superman exclusively Goku would have copped a W, but it overall it was still a 80/20 split in favor of Supes. They still got Goku’s speed wrong in the original death battle though, with base and SSJ2 somehow being the same speed despite SSJ2 being 100x stronger than base. This fudged his speed so he’s be slower than Supes. Tangential note: UI was never used in either death battle - as it hasn’t revived any proper multipliers yet. They only used up to SSJB in the rematch. UI has been proved to our Goku on a multi universal+ scale, so he may fare better than you think. For Flash, Hulk, and Static - see my response regarding author writing consistency - as this applies to all three of them as well. As for Ben 10 vs Green Lantern, it’s been debunked already. Ben wins through the SoToBro effect and Omnitrix AI, the former allows high tier being capable of sending time rifts to pick up on said time rifts. So Alien X would have followed Hal back to the past and killed him right then and there. It takes one blink to kill anyone as Alien X, so Hal would be dead. Secondly the Omnitrix AI never activated to save Ben from getting his hand severed. The AI saved him from the Big Bang, giving him the alien he needed to survive the situation without his consent. It also did this when he was about to be crushed by falling debris in Ultimate Alien, giving him Big Chill to become intangible mid crushing. They failed to demonstrate this in the fight, which caused Ben to lose.

The Viltrumites realized their numbers left alive were really small. Spoiler for show watchers only, but there were less than a hundred left after the big fight. They were nearly wiped out by an engineered virus, and decided that they needed to clean out any weaklings left. The scary part is that Conquest is shown having two arms, and he famously lost one in a fight against creatures that were able to hurt him BECAUSE he was weakened by the virus. Which means that during the purge, Conquest was winning his fights despite his strength being cut by over half. Remember that, when you see him again on screen in the show. And then know that there is an even stronger Viltrumite who fought Battle Beast for four days straight at the height of his strength.
