Great vid, Omnidog! The number one issue to make me cry is New Teen Titans #7, by Marv Wolfman and George Perez, that deals with Cyborg and his father reconciling. It hits even harder now consider the life experiences I've had since I first read it.

great choice! And I totally get that it hits harder now!

Thanks for the great tips. Pride of Baghdad is indeed a gem. A few of my favourites are ”The Kid Who Collects Spider-Man” by Roger Stern, Fantastic Four #1 by Ryan North, ”The Sculptor” by Scott McCloud and ”A Mother’s Love” by Stan Sakai (published in Usagi Yojimbo Book 3 from Fantagraphics). I would also like to mention a non American title: ”Dagen van zand” by Dutch artist Aimée de Jongh, one of the most beautiful stories I have ever read . It is published in English as ”Days of Sand” (Selfmadehero). It tells real-life stories of courage and perseverance during the Dust Bowl of 1930’s America. Greetings, Belgian Ellen.

It’s Lonely at the Centre of the Earth by Zoe Thorogood for me, that book emotionally wrecked me. But I still highly recommend it to all!

This comic really got me crying Ultimate Spider-Man #65 Peter is dealing with the aftermath of Gwen Stacy's death and is contemplating giving up being Spider-Man but he sees a woman almost get killed almost like how Uncle Ben died but he doesn't turn away this time he jumps in there and saves her (without his costume by the way don't worry he has a scarf around his face) and she hugs him and thanks him he then returns to the rooftop and says "I'm sorry Gwen" it was really emotional. 😢

as you can tell by the thumbnail, I've NEVER gotten over her death!!

@OmnidogsVault oh! Batman death in the family that one is pretty emotional too! Did you have the same response with Jason Todd's death like with Gwen Stacy?

This is a great list. A different part of Supergirl choked me up, the part with the gravedigger. The ends of I Kill Giants, Do A Powerbomb, Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Gwenpool, Silver Surfer by Slott and the Allreds and Thud by Mikael Ross all wrecked me when I read them. O Human Star by Blue Delliquanti and Jo & Rus by Audra Winslow both bring me to tears cause they have moments of being accepted and making friends. The weirdest one that brings me to tears in the end of X-23 by Marko Tamaki cause I miss getting to hang out with Laura, Gaby and Jonathan and they are rarely are in the same story anymore.
@OmnidogsVault10 сағат бұрын
