I think Uzohiko is taking the fundamentals of Rasengan (and it's variations) and mixing it with the worldly/natural connection to the planet. Kirin calls upon the forces air pressure and ions to guide a bolt of lightning. Uzohiko takes this foundation and applies it to the rotational properties of rasengan. Which is why it can't be absorbed.

Another great thing about this Jutsu is that it seems like a natural genjutsu. Ohtsutsuki's obviously can't be affected by genjutsu but Uzuhiko uses the planets naturally occuring rotation to make you dizzy. Basically doing what genjutsu can do.

I guess that Rasengan Uzuhiko is Boruto's version of what Sasuke came up with when he created Kirin : he uses the natural energy around him to empower his own jutsu. In that case, nature energy (aka senjutsu) probably spins with the planet naturally which allows Boruto to uses it in his jutsu without actually having to spend a lot of chakra. He just "goes with the flow" I suppose. If he trained with frogs, then that's highly possible. At first I also believed that it would mess up all your chakra points, but seeing how Code could still go from a dimension to another, I guess that's not the case. I believe this jutsu was created specifically to also counter Daemon's ability ; if he ever reflects that rasengan on Boruto, then Boruto can easily undo it as he stated in this chapter. Also, the fact that people eaten up by the ten tails actually become some kind of tree is very interesting considering that's how Kaguya made her first army of white Zetsu. This makes it even more interesting if you think about Black Zetsu being "Kaguya's will" which could simply be a white Zetsu with Kaguya's imperfect karma somehow, or something like that.

The end of the chapter kinda indicates to me that this was a plan of Boruto and due to the toads probably Kashin Koji. Rasengan Uzohiko probably is close to a sage art and you'd need to have twice the chakra reserve of an average person to activate it. I think making someone dizzy is just a side effect. It comes across as a rotating armor that uses the earth's rotation as a battery, allowing your chakra to influence the wind around you at a subconscious level

I think the uzuhiko makes the target a rasengan. But it stops at the rotation part in the training and that is what causes the dissyness. And since a rasengan doesn't need constant added Chakra to maintain spinning that is why it last forever.

OK so here's my thoughts on Uzohiko. Boruto has applied the gentlefist technique to the rasengan. And by doing so, he makes his body a center point, or like an end of a pole. When you touch him, you become the other pole. So when you attack him, you get repelled away. Boruto wasn't moving. He was just standing there, and Code's whole body was being repelled when he attacked. Notice Boruto's attack when he launched code. He practically bounced him away, like pushing to magnets together on the opposite ends. Its probably a relatively harmless move. When used offensively, it pushes you away. When used defensively, it disorients your opponent. Boruto is bluffing. He's not trying to kill Code. He was just trying to get him to go back to the ten tails so he can track it. He has no intention of killing anyone. You can tell by how forgiving he's being with Kawaki. He doesn't just still believe in peace, he now has the skill and power to make it happen. No need for talk no jutsu.

Boruto being trained by Sasuke makes sense with the creation of rasengan uzuhiko. If you think about it, uzuhiko is basically a wind version of amateratsu as it "clings" onto the opponent and continues to damage the opponent until they die or the jutsu is released.

Sasuke is probably a tree. It lines up with how Kishimoto plays it safe with his legacy characters. And after Sasuke turned into a tree, Boruto was probably helped by Kashin Koji who after his Isshiki fight, started to gain his memories back and reconnected with the toad sages. All theory though.

One thing about Naruto and Sasuke is that they are always put in similar circumstances whatever happened. Naruto lost Jiraiya the same time Sasuke lost Itachi. Lost an arm at the same time. Lost Kurama/Rinnegan at the same time. Its only safe to assume that Sasuke, after the many times fighting Code throughout timeskip, Code and his army managed to hit Sasuke and turn him into a tree to make him frozen. My guess is that the rasengan uzohiko is basically molding the chakra inside of the opponent like a rasengan and then syncing that rotation with the rotation of the planet. I’ll also assume that Boruto combined the technique with his gentle fists so that every chakra point he struck is receiving planetary levels of vertigo 💀

Is boruto using earth rotation speed to dodge? Okay so i may be very much off but, when i read the chapter earlier and saw the way boruto was dodging in a way that "It wasnt rapid movement, or clones, or genjutsu", and Daemon mentions the earth rotation, i inmediately though to myself "what if boruto is able to "tap" into earth rotation and "untie" himself from it, so that he can utilize that speed to move almost instantaniously"? I mean, if you were able to separate yourself from the rotation of the earth, and stand still, everything around you would move at 1000 miles/h but you, so you would be moving at 1000 miles/h for every other spectator (this could raise some problems, like that boruto only could move at that speed in 1 direction, oposed to that of the earth rotation), but still i might be onto somthing? I dont know, tell me what you guys think :) Also, in the last pannel of the chapter, as boruto sais "good" to the ten tails' location being confirmed, he is doing a hand seal, so not surprised if he reverse summons himself to code via the toad, so maybe boruto IS saving the world un chapter 3 (or 4 rather lol).

Hey pro theory about the power. Let me know what you think. Rasen Uzihiko probably uses wind release and lightning release to use the magnetic force of the earth to disrupt the opponents chakra network for it to be aligned with the earths magnetic rotation hence the "worlds chakra/energy". With the change and disruption of the chakra network overloading your brain into constant disorentation and the inability to control kinetic movement. Kind of like the one jutsu kabuto gets hit by from tsunade in part 1 of the series plus thr spinning motion of the rasengan. Basically it makes it as if no matter what someone does their chakra will disorient them to death because the earths magnetic force will never stop so now that your chakra network is aligned with it the semi permanent part is that you would have to realign your entire chakra network and boruto probably is the only one that can do that with enough time for you to save your life. This pays off boruto being part hyuga and understanding the basis of chakra networks and the base hyuga fighting style without needing a byakugan to initiate some of the affects of hitting the chakra points.

Good break down as always. Id like to add some things that may not be thought about yet. In following sasaki, he now has a way to interrogate he's enemies similar to sasaki and not that he is an active member of the leaf currently but he has the best jutsu to interrogate from the leaf. Secondly he wanted to shadow the hokage and now it seems like he's becoming a protector of all threats although not shown yet. Because the direct threat is in konaha but it affects every nation and him knowing the threat of the ten tails on a mass scale is what he is trying to prevent. I def wish these were every 2 weeks instead of 12 issues a year 😢

Do the writers of the anime know that centrifugal force generated by rotation of the earth is only like 2.5N. By comparison the average person can throw a punch some where between 200 - 400 newtons. So maybe there is an element to how this new jutsu works. Also if it's chakra from the earth why does it look like a wind release and not a earth release. Just my thoughts

Small detail regarding the toads. Boruto's use of the toads for ''surveillance'', strongly resembles/is Kashin Koji's use of the toads in previous chapters (ep 196 and chapter 29), through using the Toad Spying Technique. A small hint towards the plausible argument that Kashin Koji has indeed been involved with Boruto in the likes of training in the toad sage arts.

I do like that in the official Shonen Jump translation, Boruto specifies that it is only semi-permanent because you will die before the planet stops spinning. Can't be permanent if you can't even survive the other subject of said permanence.

I think for the first time my favorite character is the MC of an anime. He literally is showing Madara levels of badassery, his grandpa's level of intelligence, his dad's heart and mentor's swag. And Momo is his Kurama, lol. Hoping Himawari being on the cover of this chapter means she'll surpass this version Boruto. Maybe she becomes the 10 tails jinchuriki? The way I understood Uzukiko is that, by incorporating the planets rotation into the Rasengan, he can make it so the Rasengans effect on the body doesn't stop until he makes it stop, until the target dies, or until the planet itself stops. It's essentially a Rasengan that applies a Damage Over Time effect on top of the ultimate bad time Vertigo effect. Also I'm once again asking you to delay yourself just a few days and use the official translation, these Scanlations you're using are causing more unnecessary confusion.

I wonder if it's a technique that Naruto was working on with Sasuke before he got trapped by Kuwaki and Sasuke passed it along. Would be cool to see his son mastering a technique he laid the groundwork for, like how Minato started working on applying a chakra nature to the rasengan but died before he had a chance to get it done

Going off Rasengan is still a ball of chakra that is what is in constant rotation inside Code and circulating around Boruto is the air nature, to stop it he could be refereeing to removing his chakra or separating it from his concentration of "rotation". If he has tapped into Senjutsu "Rotation" could be its own thing. As for Sasuke he could have returned to the Snakes I doubt it's the cats he turned to; the summons are the closest links to the planet. Koji can be there why not it's not like Jiraiya could put Senju to full use.
