Omnivore is shutting down 😥Moving to Readwise

Anyone else’s omnivore export zip upload instantly into the Readwise uploader, but no articles are visible? (I have a 500mb zip of exports)

That’s rough, I was actually considering migrating away from readwise to omnivore to save money but I guess that’s not gonna happen 😅

How do you ensure that readwise does not sync the articles back again in Logseq after migrating from omnivore to reader?

Readwise only syncs the highlights made in Reader, so as long as I don't make any new highlights in old articles I'm safe. I do wish there was a way to manage exports with finer resolution though 😕

I would like to use Readwise but it's just too expensive for me at the moment, even with the student discount... as we have to pay yearly.

There’s another app called web highlighter and another one called Glasp that’s both free because I just left Readwise because I don’t use it a lot but like doing the highlights still.

I've heard people using Zotero as a read-it-later app. Might be a good alternative
