I know, right? Sunny really does seem to be a smart and clever kid, just kind of unmotivated by practical and expected standards. I know that some of these are just supposed to be cheeky references, but I'd still like to apply it to canon, in a way. For example, the fact that Sunny is aware of and has probably watched "The Incredible Mr. Limpet," (which I could totally see him enjoying) due to the Reverse Mermaid quip as a kid living in the late 90's/early 2000's is pretty funny, and says a lot about Sunny's quirkiness.

As much as people say he's a smartass with how he talks, Omori/Sunny's friends say that he has good memory (even in the real world) that he's trusted to remember certain things like the order of the photos in Basil's album. Sure, he misremembered a few things like Kel's favorite drink (he hates milk), but he still clearly remembers most of them. The music you hear in headspace? A lot of those are from the radios you can listen to in the real world. One of the quests in Molly's section involves memory. Sunny has a lot of untapped creativity that he chose to internalize. Couple that with his vivid imagination, he can translate those thoughts into something more productive as an outlet- if he ever finds a hobby or passion that isn't just staying in one place contemplating with nothing. He also seems to like puns so much that you get to have a sidequest involving them. Some of the enemy entries are puns, even. Perhaps he is a smartass to some degree, but I don't think it's not without some backing.

(SPOILERS) I've worked out an assumed timeline: 1983: Mari's birth (possibly; could be 1984 as well, but I believe it's 1983) 1984: Hero's birth 1987: Sunny's, Basil's, Kel's, and Aubrey's birth year 1999: Year Mari dies 2003: Time game takes place The lack of cell phones, the Tamagotchi in Kel's pocket, the dial-up dialogue here (like you said), the device that Sunny was playing on in Basil's photo album (likely a Gameboy Color), and Hero's dialogue in this journal about the cassette tape (which was popular in America in the mid-late 80's. Therefore, he would be able to remember using it some, while Sunny and the others wouldn't, as they would have been younger and more used to CD's), are my evidence. The math works out with their current ages, and their ages that they were when the incident happened/Dream World.

This seems a lot like the Piklopedia or whatever from Pikmin 2... I actually loved spending hours reading all those quirky journal logs in that game. :p How Olimar reacts to real world objects like a scientist like WE'RE the ancient aliens and even how Louie talks about cooking some of the plants and animals (and how some are hilariously inedible) was very entertaining. :p It gave a lot of lore and even personality to the characters you're playing... Same here, we barely even get to know what Sunny/Omori himself is thinking. :p To be honest, this video confirms for me that this game in some ways is a LOT like End Roll. o.o

What Omori explains in the CREEPYPASTA enemy might be a reference to the creepypasta "Ben Drowned" from Majora's Mask. The story starts with a dusty cartridge as well, and things start to get bad from there. I don't know, just a thought xD

King Carnivore can't be fought again. he's a one time encounter.

A little trick I learned playing this game, is that early bosses, such as Pluto before the Junkyard incident, and King Carnivore, are fights that you can easily flee. If you just encounter them, and flee on the first round, they will be in your Foe Facts Journal, even if you did not beat them. Kind of a neat thing to know if you don't want to mess with these guys early on, and just want to complete the journal.

You would have to load a save or start the game all over. Remember that you can just enter battle with it then run, simply entering combat with an enemy adds to your journal.

@@daddyjockno9529 But Pluto flies away if you run from him the first time. I'd recommend getting everything else done (before getting Spaceboy's mixtape) and THEN fight him. He's actually not that difficult after leveling up enough.

I don't think there is one in game sadly. Although if it did exist I think it would be cool if SUNNY signed it as OMORI and then crossed it out and wrote his actual name. Even cooler if as more time goes on he slowly stops doing it
