He has every right to be. I understand that everyone wants to leave, but there wasn’t much concern at all on the hooligans part for Sunny, who Kel TOLD them was in a coma and that what happened with Mari and Sunny was similar to what (nearly) happened with Aubrey and Basil. He would have drowned had Hero not gotten there in time. As for Hero, I always thought that he’d take the longest to forgive Sunny anyway.😔

@@raviqirvansyah1304 I knew it would take him a while to forgive Sunny, but it is a bit odd that Hero is being emotionally tone-deaf, though I’m betting he forgives Sunny at the end. The thing is, Kel is usually the idiot of the group, but here he’s the mature one and has been nothing but supportive and understanding of Sunny and Basil since he was told the told truth. Hero and Aubrey have been acting like abrasive dumb-asses though, but I’m hoping they’ll see their mistakes. Like I’ve said in other comments, this seems to be like a journey though a mental purgatory. There’s hope to get to paradise, but they’re still walking in a part of hell in a sense.

This is almost like making an Omori/ divine comedy sort of Fanfic where after Sunny journeyed out of the hell of his own mind (that at times over lapped with reality), he’s trapped in purgatory. And his friends go to rescue him, even though they have no clue what they’re doing. Basil is purgatory in both reality and mentally, but he isn’t trapped like Sunny.🤔 By the way, Kel is a true bro, Standing up for Sunny and Basil like that.😭👍

Nooo! I wanted Stranger to rip them all a new one! To make them see that Sunny didn't need their judgement when he already has the worse judge: himself! Kel my man! You keep proving that honesty, being earnest and all and all empathy are the best way to deal with this situation! Tell them! Tell off these people that don't know ANYTHING about Sunny and Basil, tell to your brother that doesn't want to look things from Sunny's perspective! Oh he loves Mari ~ BUT WHAT ABOUT HER ACTUAL FUCKING BROTHER!? YOU THINK HE DOESN'T FEEL HORRIBLE!? Oh I shut down for an entire year out of depression ~ HA SUNNY SPENT 4 YEARS DROWING IN GUILT! And the dynamic between Stranger and Basil ~ it's so interesting because they're technically the same person, because let's remember Stranger is a memory of Basil, and Sunny is the only other person who knows Basil thanks to their friendship. It pains me that Stranger is that friendship personified and Sunny, or Omori, actually tried to forget that I don't trust Abbi's intervention. Since this is Post-true end, that means that she never got to reunite with Sunny through Omori during the fight, and so she wasn't forgiven for her sin (whatever it is), so she'll try to earn brownie points from Sunny by helping him forget, and this fight is just going to be another waste of time, like all fights in Headspace are. Because, let's face it, Stranger is the only one that can actually help by pointing out the uncomfortable but necessary truth: that's his purpose!

First of all this episode was amazing I'm so glad I found this after I finished my play through of Omori. This reiteration of what happened after the end of omori is one of my favourites to date. I can feel all the blood sweat and tears that went into this. The fact that this is only part 2/3 is making me beyond ecstatic. The amount of details in this is exquisite I loved the inverted Final Duet piece was made to in Kels justified outrage. Especially how it contrasts with not only with Kel and Omori's characters but as well with what point they are both at in the game story and your's. Omori being back to where he is in placing himself in the fortitude of his own mind and making Kel begin adress and express his real feelings without needing to feel expected to wear an emotional mask. Final Duet in the game symbolised the ending of Omori and the need for his existence for Sunny to hide behind and cope by placing himself into a persona to play with as a coping mechanism. But this parody of the Final Duet felt like not only a complete set back for Sunny but a beggining for Kel on his own journey parallel to Sunny. Also speaking of parallels the epiphany he had when he acknowledged the fact that he wanted to push Kim in the heat of the moment. Despite the incidents involving Aubrey and Basil as well as Sunny and Mori is really amazing and lays the groundworks for his character development. Suffice to say that was my favourite part. Just the sheer amount of conflicts between these interacting groups Kel, Basil, Aubrey, Hero, and Aubrey's Friends' is incredible and I Stan for it. I also love how you portray each character in this reiteration they feel so familiar and embedded inside the story of the game that sometimes I find me reminding myself that this is just one version of what could have happened. I felt that you were able capture the essence of each character as well as place your own original inputs within their personalities that its hard to tell which dialogue scene was your writing or something that was heavily based off their characters withing the game. I could spend almost another half an hour writing about the rest of the episode but that would take way too long so I'll just sum it. I loved this from the music and its purpose in a scene, to the interactions and conflicts that arises between character that did not really interact game, and the how each characters felt human and the decisions that they made felt as if I would do something similar in that position if lying meant I can be safe. Overall amazing job and I acknowledge you for the time and effort you have put into this because of your love for this world Omo Cat created. Can't wait to see what you have planned in the foreseeable future. I will say though I'm kinda debating whether the placement of the Parodied Final Duet and Kels outrage was thematically and cinematical built up in terms of the story beats. Which is honestly my own opinion (Also if anyone read this to the end soz for any mistakes I just luv this series and wanted to write something about it. And Everything I wrote Is just my opinion and view of the Omori and this story but thx for reading I guess lol.)

Well, from last episode, it seems that the SOMETHINGs have changed. Instead just being content to follow, they are actively acting aggressive. SOMETHING proper appeared and scared Aubrey into the lake, where Something in the Water began to drag her down. There was also the appearance of Hell Mari on/in the water. Maybe the form of Mari down here *is* actually upset, explaining the change in behavior. (We know the SOMETHING itself is related to Mari, not only being formed from her hanging body, but also it speaking to Sunny, saying it loves him.) Four month old comment but whatever lol

I finally have time to make a deep (AND VERY LONG) comment of the chapter... AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!! Something I love is when something is well written, and this is well written! The part that the Hooligans (and Hero) were being hypocritical idiots by being unable to empathize (with Sunny, Kel, and Basil), denying all the damage they've caused them, and acting as if only they were the victims, that it is very realistic! (I say this because in most fanfics go straight to repentance and redemption; when the reality is that immature idiots are usually in denial and make excuses (This also usually varies depending on the character and circumstances )) In addition to something that is shown here, are the clear dynamics of the whole group together, who are friends, who are falling apart, and who don´t say anything because they don´t want to worsen the situation or wash their hands of the matter. For now, Kel and Basil are the only ones who really care about Sunny (While Hero and Aubrey are still in negativity and dejection). I love the details that show that each person only knows certain sides of the story, like Basil didn't know how the Hoolingans knew the truth about Mari or Hero didn't know that the Hoolingans and Aubrey had been bullying Basil for those 4 years, and that Basil hadn't told them about his suicide attempt and how Sunny stopped him (A detail that I love, is that all the information and lore that Sunny knows, is shared to Stranger and all the inhabitants "who know the truth" of Sunny's mind). And I am absolutely delighted how you have written "Stranger", his personality, motives, powers, while staying true to the game's canon and Basil. Since as "Stranger" said, he is a "distorted perception" of Basil, a memory of Basil that Sunny didn´t accept and he preferred to forget, but as his essence is still his "perception of Basil" and a mixture with the emotions of Sunny (Basil was always a good friend who protected and took Sunny's side to the bitter end, and Sunny is aware of that.) By the way, I love that Kel no longer thinks to put up with the shit and stress of hooligans, there are limits to everything, and they have already passed Kel's (Now let's see if there is redemption and reconciliation or nothing, we'll see XD). I honestly payed so much attention to this detail of how kim and kel were fighting and kel wanted it to stop so he pushed her and didn't realise what he did Because he was so shocked its like how sunny pushed mari Because he wanted the argument to stop i think that part was super cool you got me all in this series(๑و•̀Δ•́)و✧

Woah. I love the many twists this has had, and although I've sort of lost the plot in a literal sense, the storyline I still recall and the imagery is unparalleled since the game itself, and perhaps even before that. Excellent work. The Wisest's contributions were quite funny, too - Sunny's dreams of their abilities would certainly be a shock in some ways.

Not a bad episode, but I feel like some of the characters were a little, off. On the positive side, I like how this episode explores the Strangers nature, and how he relates to Basil. Having him lash out at Hero and the others, because he sees them as the cause of his problems feels very believable. However, while Kels anger at Aubrey and her gang is understandable, but it feels a bit much to rescind his forgiveness, especially after she seemingly acknowledged she was in the wrong last episode. Plus, I feel like spilling the beans in front of the Stranger was a dumb move even for Kel. On top of that, I don't really buy him and Basil being ok with leaving the group behind. I get that Kel's mad, and Basils scared of Aubreys gang, but Hero and the others could die back there, for all they know. That said, I do like Abbi coming in to help at the end, especially calling them "friends of the Dreamer". It's a nice touch that reminds us that Strangers view of the gang doesn't necessarily reflect Sunny's.

To be fair it is extremely hypocritical of Hero and Aubrey to be angry at Kel and Basil for not lying about the truth to Stranger after how the treated Sunny for doing the opposite.

SO worth the wait!! I'm glad Kel and Basil were honest. It may have made things harder for the group now, but their honesty is what can help save them in the long run, even if the rest don't see it that way. 🥲 I have so much respect for Kel and Stranger. Whatever they do it's always because they think it's the best thing they could. I even made my own Stranger after being inspired by Sunny/Basil's! 🥰 I can ramble on and on about everything else happening, but I think I'll wait until my thoughts are more organized first. 😅 Even if it takes months or years, I'm glad you gift us with this awesome story and animation. Just watched the whole series up to this ep. Very good, I can only imagine it being like the game. It could make for such a good sequel, having you switch between Omori (Sunny) being in his dream and doing the things that was said in ep 3 with helping the other friends out of Last Resort and an adventure in space all while the breaks (or days before the end) his friends are going through all this current stuff and we're in their perspective. I do think it was an odd choice to include Vance and all the others from the hooligans in the dreams and of course actually making the seeing things in real life not only a group experience but implying it real as opposed to the og game is a bit odd but I guess welcomed if it'll help move the plot along :) Great work and looking forward to how you're gonna end it, seems like it was Mari helping them out, perhaps HellMari, but she seems like she'd be against them since Omori hid her in Blackspace because he assumed that version of her hated him, idk, only played the game a week ago with a mate and I am down the 4 year old fandom rabbit hole now looking for closure :3

First off love the fact that you used final duet but in minor key second the part when Basil tells Kel how he was gonna unalive himself and Kel saying that Basil could of told him had me in tears and third finally seeing Kel snap after what happened was a sight to see after everything that happened before this episode seeing Kel snap made me so happy

This is a wonderful animation. Since there have been some suggestions, I thought I would make some of my own! if the plot point about them exploring and seeing all the things sunny has felt over the years is coming true there should be some thematic or well, necessary ones to include: - The killing Basil and more warped things, obviously with a guide to explain what Omori was doing. Since it would build up the actual terror of Omori from another perspective. - the memory of Sunny’s dad telling him he’s not his son. This would be to close Aubrey’s own arc with her thoughts on Sunny, considering she has had a similar experience. - the actual memory of seeing Mari’s dead body. I feel this would work more or less to show them how affected he was by it, the true horror of his mental state when he finally took a step back and realised what he’s done. - as a final one the way sunny has reacted to the recent events, which has surely become suppressed. Showing just how hurt sunny was by everything and how much he really needed them when they abandoned him. - This might be controversial but I also think perhaps everyone is being a bit too harsh on Hero and Aubrey. As it stands they’re taking it a bit far but like, Sunny collapsed after maybe a week. That’s really not enough time to properly process this. It’s not really a shock that Hero didn’t forgive him in that time, it is a bit of a shock that he didn’t give a shit about Sunny in hospital but then again he’s sorta doing what Omori is now. Trying to forget sunny, that should also be brought up. Also as a brief note, the dreamlings have way too much pressure on sunny. Like it’s been a week and he’s forced to deal with something 4 years in the making. A relapse is completely normal for this kind of stuff. Just an idea to float around. Also Omori’s plan is faulty logically. Yes he relapsed but Omori had his way for 4 years and nothing worked. Three days with his friends and suddenly Sunny made major progress. Just for any future debates between them. Also with the theories that sunny is shutting down, I believe that this would probably turn heroes attention. Like, if he doesn’t act up sunny is gonna die or comatose Permanently, because honestly even at their worst I doubt that they would kill Sunny. Even if it’s merely because they would technically be killing Mari’s little brother and no matter how you try to spin it everyone knows Mari wouldn’t forgive anyone who did that. - I’m also curious to see how you handle Mark in the future with Headspace. I doubt she would’ve been thrown into black space because honestly it would go against sunny to the very core. Anyways, I hope this reaches you well and that this series can be the best.
