I absolutely love all your videos. You seem to always have videos on what I'm thinking about. Great work

Awsome flight man!! The little buggers are hard to fly like that, gotta be on your game.

Still waiting for my M1 to arrive, just ordered it Wednesday, saw this video later on that day and instantly ordered you 6x charge lead from ScotiaRc and some extra packs. Nice flying bro.

Needless to say great flight, and personally I think the piro flips you did looked pretty good.

Have you reinforced those tail fin bolts at all? They don’t look like the stock bolts
@curazyheart71432 жыл бұрын
I noticed that also. One of the phillips screw heads I have on mine, broke off in a crash. The fin is fine lol Those hex heads with cups are an excellent improvement.

@@curazyheart7143 Yeh I had my tail fin come off in a crash and both those phillips screws sheered off.. couldn't get the remaining bits out of the bracket so had to replace the bracket too.. I've added superglue to the new bracket to see if that strengthen the hold for next time.. it's not a great design I don't think the stock bolts aren't strong enough 👍🏾

This is how mine came, perhaps a small upgrade performed on later production runs?

@@BladeScraper The spare parts photo shows the same hardware as seen here. Looks like the standard now.

What are your flight controller settings? Thanks in advance.

Incredible flying and nice heli. I'm looking at getting an M1 but my transmitter is an old Futaba 2.4 FASST and I understand it won't work with any of the OMP M1 protocals. Have you tried the stock T6 that comes with the RTF M1 and is it decent ?
@BladeScraper2 жыл бұрын
I'm not a fan of the OMP radio, it's good for beginners but anyone who already flies will feel very restricted. I'd instead suggest a RadioMaster Zorro and a DSMX satellite or something along those lines.

excellent showcase of the heli! i'm considering between a m1 evo and a m2 evo. my flight skills are just hovering and a bit of very ugly circles and barely figure of 8, but have been on hiatus since a time when flybars were still a thing (BEAM heli and JR radios with the very long antenna), until now where i just got a Zorro and hooked up with accurc 2 (seems you might be very very familiar). i was wondering what is the flight time of the m1 evo with your hardcore 3D, and then on very light flying or hovering? does the DFS on the m1e vs m2e at this size have very visible cons? which one is a better choice at the learning stage? thanks!
@BladeScraper Жыл бұрын
I don't really keep accurate track of flight times. The M2 EVO definitely gets longer flight times even with the same type of flying on both. Watch any of my vids with full flights and you can get an idea of the flight time of either one. Both are great for getting back into the hobby provided you have some experience with flying CP helis. The M2E is larger and easier to see though. Just don't get the white scheme (I made that mistake, eventually bought a yellow and orange canopy for them)

@@BladeScraper yeah i got the m2e in orange. the strange thing is, the linkages seems to be a whee bit out of sync in terms of length out of box and my swash did not fly straight out of box. thats a bit puzzling considering most flyers appear to comment that out of box setup was top notch. is there anyone that got this too? of course i took the all apart and synced the length and did the FBL controller swash leveling and it all appears fine now. Also I get frequent RF low/critical on a Zorro, at frequency tuning of 0 and 14 thus far, does anyone have a suggestion of a "freq number" to use of OMP protocol?
@BladeScraper Жыл бұрын
@@glenncain If I recall correctly, the RSSI that the OMP protocol reports is actually not how strong the signal from TX->Heli is, but rather the strength of the telemetry that the TX is seeing from the heli. It is effectively useless for telling you how close you are to failsafe because it's reporting a totally different value. You're probably better off deleting the RSSI sensor and just doing a range test.
@glenncain Жыл бұрын
@@BladeScraper Thanks for the added perspective on this. I have come across this comment before prior, but also articles that comment otherwise at a period the opentx/edgetx update just dropped and released this RSSI function where in the comment implied this was THE signal strength, though understandably at that time this was new and it wasn't going to be easy for anyone to discover immediately what that function actually meant. Also I had a minor crash and discovered that in normal mode and flight mode 2 (highest rpm with 3d pitch curve), it doesn't have anything noticeable but at flight mode 1 (mid rpm 3d pitch cuve) the tail bobs quickly. is this some strange resonance i am seeing or am i missing something? if a mast or spindle is bent, I should not be see only 1 of 3 flight mode indicating any vide, am i right?
