OMSI 2 | Arkala Route X9 | New Airport Express Route | First Looks

Hello and welcome to another OMSI 2 video!
There’s been yet another new and exciting update for the upcoming Arkala map, the new X9 route which will run from Michigan Street Station, right the way through to Bromford Airport every 20 minutes or so. The route utilises a branded Wright Streetdeck in a striking livery by McCauley, and it’s a really welcome addition to the Arkala network.
The route is currently approximately 70% finished, so in places you do have to use your imagination where scenery is concerned. There’s also one or two bugs which need ironing out, but with the quality of the other two routes being second to none, I’m sure these things will be ironed out in time.

I live right near Gatwick Airport and drive down London Road/A23 frequently. The bit at 42:57 is a good take on the junction. The map as a whole looks brilliant!

IRL the buses to Birmingham Airport (X1 and X2) stop opposite the Bullring (which is Harlow Place in Arkala) so I think that should definitely be added to the route

Nice and direct like the RR on Yorkshire 3.0 I prefer these kind of routes personally particularly when my destination on certain vehicles like the C200 want to play up

Having a stopping route like you say to shadow this route would be kind of like the Trent Barton Skylink Express as the X9 and the 9 would be like the Skylink EM Airport > Notts via Castle Donnington.

i live in york and seeing this is weird to me because some parts of the map are york style then some are not. like the station is accurate but where the bar walls theres alot that is different to the real life but awesome video man

Imagine what it's like for me - every UK OMSI video I watch over the last 10 years, I have to listen to my voice, putting on a range of dodgy accents. Yes, the long in the tooth voice pack that is on virtually every UK map was created by me - in 2013. Kindly credited in the manual of Yorkshire Counties; uncredited everywhere else. And I agree with you 100% - it's so long in the tooth and we should have heard an alternative by now.

Don't know how you took 11 points something I feel like this to be 11 if it if you don't have a bus just 11m bus but I feel like this should be like a 10.5 and if that if you if it's a short of bus you have to take 11 this barely can make it feel like a 10.5 will do mint on this route
