Thx so much for this, I’m literally ordering a Polar this weekend and it will be my first laser. I co-own a print shop and have my own design company, so excited to finally get into lasers and this video is exactly what I was looking for.

At 40:50, I believe you can still pulse with the door open (not sure about the side panels being off) by pushing something into the hole next to the Ma output screen.

@@andrewbrummett3856 I tried didn't work. I believe the safety is a magnetic switch from the side panels to the door.

Have you had any issues with the E-Stop, I had to replace multiple times or it won’t again. Would be left with plugging the electric cable to turn the machine off. Was actually trying to revert back to the key start instead.

@retrorealistichobbies Hi id just like to say I found this very helpful as I bought my own polar laser engraver few months ago and looking to add alot of the same upgrades in your video, which brings me to why I'm commenting I wanted some advice on which of the cloudray controllers is best to get the cloudray ruida controller rdc6442s or the Cloudray Ruida RDC6445S Laser Controller any advice would be greatly appreciated

@@dannylaw8853 Hi, thanks for the comment and I'm glad you found the video useful. I'm not too sure what the difference between the two are but I brought the Cloudray Ruida Controller RDC6442S. www.cloudraylaser.com/ To be completely honest although it's installed and working, I have never used it for anything besides glancing at the screen while cutting once in a while. I guess it will come in handy if I ever get an error. Other than that it just sits there. The best upgrade I ever made was the DS Advantage laser nozzle. www.etsy.com/shop/DSADVANTAGE

@retrorealistichobbies thank you very much for your speedy reply I've sent an email to cloudray customer service just waiting on there product team to get back to me, I'm also planning on purchasing the nozzle upgrade too aswell as the reddot so when I said perry much all the upgrades I actually meant all the upgrades in your video 😂
