Evan Peters played: Peter “Quicksilver” Maximoff in the Fox X-Men movies, where he was a mutant in the ‘80’s and the son of Magneto and there is no mention of Wanda. Aaron Taylor-Johnson played Pietro Maximoff in the MCU, where he got his power from the experimentation done on him by Hydra and is the twin brother of Wanda. Due to licensing rights, Marvel could not previously use the term mutant and couldn’t introduce any of the X-Men or their enemies, such as Magneto. Now, Disney bought those rights from Fox, so can start introducing some of those characters and the term mutant. However, Quicksilver was a weird border-case where Marvel could use him as long as they didn’t call him a mutant or refer to Magneto. In this, Wanda recast her brother with Evan Peters, the actor who played him in the other “universe”. I’m trying not to spoil anything, so will leave it at this and let you try to guess the implications - the way we did when this dropped.

The "Monica/Carol" "situation." I'm guessing "Carol" was off saving all those other worlds that don't have so many "enhanced-humanoids." "Maria" died alone. That would sting.

thing is no one really "put" Hayward in charge. my guess based on his dialogue with Monica in the episode 4 scene where we are introduced to him was that he was just the highest ranking SWORD agent to survive Thanos' snap. Was more process of elimination than appointment

When they were talking about the mind stone they were talking about Wanda and Pietro, not Captain Marvel. Hydra experimented on people with the mind stone in Loki's scepter and they were the only survivors. Captain Marvel got her powers from the tesseract which has the space stone in it.

Don't forget Wanda got snapped away right after seeing Vision die twice and then got snapped back into existence having to immediately go to war with Thanos. So to Wanda the 5 years never happened making everything even more fresh and painful.

It's not just a DC thing. Regular Marvel comics is Earth-616, the Fox X-men universe is Earth-10005, and the MCU is Earth-19999 and there are a myriad of other alternate universes.

That living will becomes important to the plot. I find it interesting that Vision had a living will. It was sensible given his fears, but what I find interesting about the living will is that its existence means the US government recognized him as a citizen rather than a machine with no rights. Usually, that doesn't happen in science fiction stories without a fight or even a war.

Explanation: the Maximoffs adopted Wanda and Pietro. Their biological father is the supervillain Magneto from the X-Men stories. Wanda's confrontation with those armed agents was very similar to a scene in the first X-Men movie between Magneto and a bunch of cops. That whole scene gives off some sinister vibes if you're familiar with the scene It references.

What you guys said was the set of Gilmore Girls was ALSO a set used in Back to the Future (not to mention To Kill a Mockingbird and many, many other movies and TV shows). it's the "Courthouse Square" part of the Universal Studios backlot, though we never actually see the courthouse part.

Mutants are not MCU canon yet. So as of yet Wanda is not a mutant. It's possible that could change now that disney has the rights to those characters but for now she is not

It's too late for that. They already have firmly established that her powers came from the Mind Stone and it would be dumb to just change that now. They already did a small retcon in ep 8 about her powers and even that felt a little shoehorned in.
