Then she went to Starks funeral while probably still in shock. Between then and the start of the series the PTSD and depression probably hit her.

As it pertained to a week-to-week basis of watching this series, it was interesting to see it flirting with the mystery “Is Wanda the villain here?” How she seems innocent at first, then slowly starts seeming more sinister, but then slowly backing away from that by making you feel more sympathy for her and this continues throughout the show and we end up delving deeper into her mind, developing a deeper understanding for why she’s doing this and how, and yet as just a binge-watch where you already know the twists and turns, there’s solid character drama and a charming chemistry between Wanda and Vision, foregoing Marvel’s typical action-driven stories in a really refreshing, not to mention completely original way to present the series through sitcoms that’s really appropriate for the story they’re telling. Wandavision is some of my favourite mainline mcu content ever.

The guy who played him could be a better actor, or maybe he portrayed him closer to the source (I don't know any of this) but I just felt like more could've been done with his character. Unless someone can convince me his death couldn't have been written better. The powerful/almost invincible person getting killed because they were distracted or dived to save someone kind of annoys me lol.

I know it's a typical plot armor type thing, but the argument on the dusting is pretty simple. When Hulk undid the Snap, he wanted to bring people back safe. If they were standing in a hallway, they'll pop back into the hallway. If they were on a plane, they're most likely just going to appear in the nearest safe location. It's 'Genie-Wish' type power, so kind of forgives that massive hole.

It's kind of a necessary power though. The Stones have to work on "intent" since you couldn't possibly know every single person in the Universe in order to dust half of them. You just need to intend to dust half the life in the universe and the Stones take care of the details.

It's not even a plot hole or plot armor. One of the infinity stones is literally the MIND stone that gave vision his sentience, it's not going to make such a dumb mistake as returning people in mid air to just fall to their deaths. Also, IF it was so idiotically literal, they would ALL reappear out in space as the planets are all moving ludicrously fast through space too, so that literal spot they were dusted at is some point in random space.

Infinity Gauntlet = Absolute Reality rewrite. If they had truly done the comic version of the Infinity Saga the cosmic beings of the universe show up as it can rewrite the universe. Great reaction! As hard as it may be to believe, Wanda's actions are totally within reason. You have to understand that for all of us it's been 5 years since "The Snappening" occurred in Infinity War. For us, its been 5 years and 3 weeks since everyone returned after the events of Endgame. For Wanda, its been 3 weeks since she was forced to destroy the Mind Stone, thus killing Vision, then watching as Thanos used the Time Stone to undo it and rip the stone from Vision's head. Three weeks since she was snapped away after watching the most traumatic event in her life since the death of her parents and brother. Three weeks since Tony Stark's funeral, Cap departed to return the Stones and the seeming disbanding of the Avenger's. Three weeks since her friend and mentor Hawkeye retuned home to be with his family...3 weeks since every support system that she's known has disappeared. Its kind of a lot!

So just in case you missed it, the Lagos commercial was referencing the events that happened in Lagos in Captain America Civil war when Wanda threw the Bomb upwards and destroyed part of a building and possibly killed a few people. Not only that guys, Evan Peters and Aaron Taylor Johnson (the actor who played Quicksilver in the MCU) did a “superhero” movie together years ago called Kick-Ass... so it’s quite interesting that they ended up playing the same character around the same time just a few years later 😉

The lagos reference is from Civil War, it was the place where Crossbone's committed suicide, and Wanda accidently killed that delegation from Wakanda.

After watching that episode me and my roommate got in a discussion in regards to the undusting event and people coming back in situations where they were on a car, plane, etc. We eventually came to the conclusion that because there was a driving will behind bringing people back that everyone wouldn't necessarily have to appear in the same spot they left. The Hulk could have not just willed everyone back, but to will them back safely so no one's returning 30k feet in the air.

Wanda makes anything modern sent into the Hex change to fit the time period so they got around it by sending in a 1980's drone since that is the time period she set this episode in so you can see the progression from the 1950's, 1960's, 1970's and now the 1980's so you can guess where it is going next.

It was explained that the Hulk wished people back in the safest way possible so if they were in the sky they would instead undust safely on the ground or in Fury's case om the sidewalk instead of in the street.. The real fallout is how many people moved on in those 5 years. Multiple marriages broken, people who might have committed suicide due to loss, plane and car crashes because of the pilots or motorists dusting mid travel etc etc. People who straight up died were not brought back unfortunately

Interestingly, their reaction was a great barometer for what would have happened if they hadn't casted Evan Peters for that role. With all of the heated discussion over the casting decision after the end of the series, you can see that there would have been just lots of confusion over if they had casted someone else, and it wouldn't have worked well for the next episode. (Trying to keep it fairly non-spoiler here in case Nikki and Steve are reading) Which is why in the end, Evan Peters was the correct casting decision for this story. (Just an unintended fandom reaction intensity)

Random Fact yet Interesting Fact: Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Evan Peters who both played in the movie Kick-Ass as friends ended up playing as Quicksilver in the X-men and MCU movies. Aaron played Quicksilver in Age of Ultron while Evan played as Quicksilver in Days of the Future Past, Apocalypse, and Dark Phoenix. In the Wandavision show Evan ended up showing up as Wanda's brother instead of Aaron from Age of Ultron. I personally thought Wanda was merging universes with her powers and bringing the X-men/Fantastic Four (now that Disney Acquired Fox) into the MCU, but we will see what happens in the future.

Wanda's brother is actually a really tongue-in-cheek nod to X-Men!! I loved it! Evan Peter's played Quicksilver in X-Men! He was the original Quicksilver, the role was re-cast in the Marvel movies. (Before the merger, so now Evan Peter's can be Quicksikver) I thought it was brilliant!! 👏
