I do like that the man in regular uniform continually checks on both the horses and riders to make certain they are alright. He always strokes the horses reassuringly, as do the Guards. They are partners and respect one another.

@@ianrimmer7469 talking of the CoH (who seems to have been promoted to ‘boss’ or ‘big boss’ etc in a lot of these videos!) how long have they been carrying a whip? When I first saw him it threw me a little because the Crown over the stripes looked like cloth and I thought that that at that rank they were metal? Then I saw the whip which I took as an equine equivalent to a swagger stick, and the next thing I was doubting myself as to whether he was a CoH at all! 😜😜😜

Sounds like drunk bikes..what the heck have cyclists got to protest about.they rule these days with luxury cycle lanes where business parking used to be...Dame Jacinda Ardern shut many many businesses with her passion for cycle lanes. Four lane roads cut down to just two and a massive cycle lane each way oh and flower boxes to make it pretty for them..those on this protest were terrorist cyclists...pedal louts of the loudest degree...

Protesters were threatening to spook the horses during the Coronation. This would have been so dangerous for the horses and military personnel but also for spectators. That’s why security was so tight. I believe the public should be able to protest but not at the expense of other peoples lives and livelihoods and most definitely not in a way that deliberately injures animals.

Being a military brat, married to a military man, with a military son, it breaks my heart to see the military disrespected by their own citizens. These young men deal with tourist every day, pushing their buttons trying to get a reaction out of them, but your own citizens should know better. I have seen a video where the horses were aware of a protest march entering the road. By the time the protest were level with the gates the horses had been taken into the stables. Think they go by the horses reaction & they know which horses are likely to be spooked.

I know it is wrong to generalise, but I don't have a lot of "love" for cyclists. Society/Government has provided "dedicated lanes" - increased priority - and laws on how close motor vehicles can be........ but, I haven't seen much evidence of gratitude it seems that these changes have now created a new world of "self righteousness" cyclists.. I don't understand why these uncontrolable crowds are allowed to be this close. I walked the mall to Buckingham Palace and I wouldn't have dreamed of milling around so close to the fence or the guards. What is wrong with people? I see that in comments here all the time. It's lack of trained manners, and a self-centered society so wrapped up in virtual reality they've lost touch with how to behave around others. I worked for many years in the S. E. US, around millennials, Gen X and Gen Z. Each year it's become worse. There's no self awareness and no pride in having good manners.

They aren’t Irish Guards though, the guards are the King’s Life Guards, the Blues and Royals. My Dad was in the Irish Guards so as you can imagine hearing someone say something so offensive was upsetting.
