How do you find the lockdown? Some reviewers don't like it. My theory is that perhaps it works for certain feet but not others, for example works better for high arches.

Are you referring to fit through midfoot or being able to do heel lock lacing?

Both I guess. One reviewer said the rear area wasn't as secure as the cloudmoster, another said his foot was moving in all directions in the midfoot area@@RunToTheFinish

I would probably use the Cloudmonster oil chiding On for the marathon. Unless you want carbon plate and I do like the Cloudboom echo 3
