The On Cloudflow 4 has been a great tempo day option in my running shoe rotation. A firm and snappy ride that quickly transitions through the gait cycle, the Cloudflow 4 reminds me of racing shoes prior to the current max stack, carbon plated racing options. The Cloudflow 4 midsole was very firm to start with, but has softened up over the past 100 miles and now I really don't mind using them for an easy run (even though I still prefer running fast in these shoes). I've really enjoyed some of the previous versions of this shoe and I can easily say this is the best one yet.

Nice review Dusty. I'm excited to try this model. My Cloudflow 3's still have a few miles left in them for the moment. They are pricey but I find I always get about 500-550miles out of the Flow before they lose their feel. So they are a reasonable investment. I think the Cloud Flow is my fav. On Shoe overall. I wasn't keen on the Cloudflow 2 but the I've gone through 4 pairs of the Cloudflow 3. BTW - your review on the Eclipse was spot on - after my disappointment with the Monster - the Eclipse is a superb long run/daily trainer - I've put 300 miles on them so far - and their still feeling awesome. Keep up the good work!

@@RunningWithDusty Took out the CloudFlow 4 for a run this morning - apart from looking really nice, they feel like the CloudFlow I've known and loved over the years - but.....I'm not sure exactly what they've done but they are a lot more snappy and feel a lot faster under my feet. Ran a PB on one of my usual tempo routes this morning - maybe it was 'New Shoe Excitement' but either way I'm super pleased with them.
