I think a lot of us came here for the tone, but your playing is also fantastic. The choices you make really compliment the Rhodes character. If you had an album of a dozen standards played on this instrument, maybe like half solo, half with complete rhythm section, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

i know. Alot of musicians now are imitating this rhodes sounds. Editing patches and effects blablabla. And they sell it.. But original is always original. u can get the sound close but not 100 percent. at the end of the day if you'll think about it, what matters is how u play an instrument. its not about what instrument are you playing. 😀✌🏿️✌🏿️✌🏿️

yup...just something about the sound of a rhodes. Good tune to play to demonstrate this keyboard too. Well played and pretty straightforward arrangement. I like how you begin it w/ a little rubato & legato feel, then up the tempo a notch and take it out similar to how it began. Really nice playing. Makes me wish i had spent more time with a piano over the years. ;--)
