They look even better in reel life and inn evening lighting you get your socks blown off. Love my Aquitaine. Haven’t seen the level of detail on the dial at 3x the price point. The dial on a 2.5k doxa 300 is a joke compared to CW

Great review of a great brand, I especially like the fact you’ve done the review in the environment for which the watch is intended. This adds a lot of credibility to your video and the product. Excellent video, best one on youtube honestly and nice to see it diving and not a desk review. I am actually favoring this over my Omega Aqua Terra at least visually, this is a very bright and playful watch fitting of sailboat and island snorkeling vibe. It has both a modern vibe while giving a hint of retro as well, it's a good match, my Omega feels dark, refined, business and stuffy in comparison from a visual scale. So many things to love too, micro adjust, quick release band/bracelet, internal rotating bezel. Things not to love it's mechanically nowhere close to Omega, not master chronometer at 15 second deviation a day.... YIKES that's rough. 30ish hr power reserve vs 60, no mention anywhere about magnetic resistance, finishing is definitely not the same level but then it's $1200 vs $5000. You make great points and despite the lack of precision I think for the daily wear this is probably the more sensible watch for actually wearing and knocking around. When I wear the Omega I'm very conscious of protecting it from knocks.

Wonderful to see a watch reviewed from the perspective of its intended function. A diving watch going diving, - what a concept 🙂. This is a sophisticated and professionally prepared review with superb photography and editing. As a visual neuroscientist, I can say that your comments on complementary colours and visibility are spot on. And as a sailor and watersports enthusiast, I appreciate real-world testing of a watch in its "natural environment". Finally kudos to Chris Ward for developing this watch! Putting the compressor ring on display in the case back is a bonus to the mechanical geeks among, so we get to see (and show off) the component that compensates for water pressure. I think orange was the perfect choice for the colour of that ring too, do you agree?

Love seeing a review of the Supercompressor! I have 3 CWs including the Black Sand dial Supercompressor on bracelet and I love it! Phenomenal case and dial finishing, perfect dimensions/size, and an excellent bracelet with ratcheting micro adjustment and QR make it just about perfect. The black sand dial is stunning and pulls off summer fun and more a professional look all in one with the fume dial. I purchased it "nearly new" from CW and it's a keeper for me. The combination of case/dial/indicies finishing and being a true Supercompressor make it stand out from other dual crown watches as a unique and special watch. CW customer service is also phenomenal, I've dealt with them twice and always had an excellent experience and quick turnaround.

@@BraveBeaters It really changes the look, and it wears phenomenally well on the bracelet. I highly recommend one if you plan to keep the Supercompressor, it's worth the price. CW also offers half links for all their bracelets but you have to request them specifically. Love your content and appreciate your honest and unbiased take on the watches you review!

Am really tempted by this watch particularly since CW are now offering it with just the twin flag logo at the 12 position. The dial colour is just gorgeous and the watch appears to have lovely proportions. A really good presentation from you again. Always enjoy your reviews. ; )

Fine looking watch. Own two CW's, (dress & handwound skindiver) lovely designs, great quality and decent prices. I like the look of this, won't get one tho as I prefer an external bezel protecting the crystal. Love that it's no date, & pleased that the latest ISO standards that state all indices must be luminous, so no more dates at 3 👏🏻( see the new Seiko Spb313) . Excellent video, thank you 👍🏻👍🏻

I am planning on getting one of these sooner or later. Did you have a chance to take a look at the blue bezel as well? Which looks better in person? I really wish they had a longer power reserve. But other than that, I think this watch is near perfect. I really like contrasting colors and both Christopher Ward and Farer do this very well.

C. Ward is making beautiful watches, yet they are suffering from poor quality control during assembly. I've heard several times about different quality issues from the byuers and had one with my own CW watch.

@@seayak There was a bad gasket between case and crystal. Therefore I got leakage when I went swimming with my watch. Even though it was 150m. waterproof and only few months after I had bought it. Moreover CW wanted to charge money for replacing the gasket when I sent the watch back. Only after my letter to Mike France they replaced it for free. In addition to this a GMT hand jumped only after a second click when pulled out a crown a tried to set that hand. It was like you turn the crown and there was a click but GMT hand didn't jump. You turn it further to another click and than hand jumps. That was fixed with gasket replacement too.
